Brie had a BLAST! 🐶🧡 Some of those pumpkins were literally bigger than her, but that didn’t stop her from sniffing out every corner of the farm. 😂🎃

JOBSTOWN: Johnson’s Locust Farm (@locusthall) is a beautiful historic farm along Route 537 and an absolute dream for dog friendly pick‑your‑own adventures and seasonal activities. 🌻🍎🐾

We hopped on a hay ride out to their wildflower field, a colorful, picture‑perfect landscape where we picked a gorgeous mix of blooms. Then it was on to the veggie field for green peppers and tomatoes straight off the stem. There is something so grounding about being in nature and harvesting food you will actually eat later.

Brie had the best time sniffing around the fields. Just a heads‑up: the tractor ride can be a little bumpy, so make sure your pup is comfortable.

Right now, the sunflower field is in full beauty, and coming soon: apple, pumpkin, and gourd picking. The farm is open year‑round with fresh produce, a charming farm market, and seasonal home goods. Dogs are preferred outdoors, but if it is quiet, they may let your pup pop inside.

Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly — you can tell they truly love what they do.

And right on the property is a Tomasello Winery tasting room, featuring a huge portfolio of New Jersey‑made wines. We did a 5‑wine tasting (which includes a souvenir glass!) and explored everything from grape wines to fruit wines, cider, and even cream‑infused varieties with over 50 different products. Dogs are welcome on the beautifully decorated covered patio, and if it is not too busy, you may be able to enjoy the inside as well. The staff is fantastic!

This spot is such a special way to spend time in nature with your pup: peaceful, scenic, and full of things to explore.

🥟🐾 MANHATTAN | LOWER EAST SIDE

If you are an empanada lover, @empanadamamanyc is the motherland! With more than 40 varieties on the menu, every empanada arrives with that perfect golden crunch on the outside and a flavorful, generously stuffed filling on the inside. One is surprisingly filling, but good luck stopping at just one. 🥟✨

The menu pulls inspiration from Latin, Colombian, Mexican, Greek, and other global flavors! Beyond empanadas, you will find arepas, soups, salads, Latin-inspired entrées, and plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

And then there are the drinks. 🍹 We couldn’t resist trying the slushy piña colada and the frosty nutcracker, and both were the perfect complement to our meal.

Our original plan was to grab takeout and continue exploring the city. Instead, the staff welcomed Brie inside, pointed us toward happy hour specials, and suddenly our quick stop turned into a relaxing meal complete with half-price drinks. No complaints here! 🐶💛

Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome indoors when it is not too busy and between the dog friendly atmosphere, incredible food, and endless menu options, it is easy to see why this spot has such a loyal following.

Pro tip: Arrive hungry!

🥑🐾 MANHATTAN | LOWER EAST SIDE

If you are looking for a dog friendly restaurant that feels straight out of a trendy NYC movie scene, @dudleysnyc should be on your list.

This Australian-inspired gem is a place that is buzzing from breakfast through dinner, and after one visit, we completely understood the hype. We stopped by for brunch and ordered the egg sandwich and green avocado salad, both packed with flavor!

And then there was the banana daiquiri. 🍌🍹 I’ll admit, it wasn’t visually what I expected when it arrived, but one sip in and I was completely sold. It was ridiculously good.

A huge shoutout to our server, Haley, who brought the best energy and made sure Brie felt like a VIP guest. 🐶💛 If there is one thing we love, it is finding places where dogs aren’t just tolerated, they are genuinely welcomed. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside! Just keep in mind that indoor seating is cozy and can feel a little tight. If you prefer more space, the beautiful outdoor seating area is just as charming and makes the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch, date night, or special meal with your pup.

Between the delicious food, creative cocktails, friendly staff, and dog loving atmosphere, Dudley’s is one of those places you will find yourself planning a return trip to before you have even left. 🥂🐾

🚢🐾 HIGHLANDS: Did you know you can take your dog to Manhattan by ferry?

If you are looking for a unique day trip with your pup, the @seastreak ferry is a dog friendly adventure that is worth adding to your list! Leashed dogs ride free and, while the website’s policy says otherwise, multiple crew members told us pups are welcome inside the cabin too (just not on the seats).

We boarded in Highlands and spent the ride soaking up some of the best views around. Along the way, we cruised under the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, and Manhattan Bridge, passed the Statue of Liberty, spotted the iconic Coney Island Steeplechase, and watched the Manhattan skyline get closer with every mile. 🗽✨

The ferry makes two Manhattan stops: 📍 Downtown at the Battery Maritime Building 📍 Midtown at East 35th Street

Onboard you will find comfortable seating, TVs, a snack bar, and multiple levels to explore, making the journey just as fun as the destination.

Trust us: seeing NYC from the water with your dog by your side is an experience you will not forget. 🐶🚢💙

The seasonal @sandboxatseastreak is conveniently located right at the Highlands dock, making it the perfect place to grab a drink, enjoy a bite, and soak up the waterfront views before or after your ferry ride. Be sure to check their social media for updates on their Spring 2027 reopening.

Seastreak pet policy as of October 2026:
“We love our pets and we’re glad you do too! We welcome dogs and cats onboard many of our trips, but they must be kept on the outdoor decks with a leash. Small dogs in a carrier can be brought inside the vessel. Service dogs are permitted onboard. Pets are not permitted on any Special Event trip, or our NJ/NYC service to Martha’s Vineyard/Nantucket.”

🚨 WELL, THAT’S A PEE-WEE-SIZED PLOT TWIST! 🚨

We were SO excited to share our visit to the Pee-wee’s Playhouse pop-up store in NYC’s Bowery neighborhood, but the demand for merch was so amazing that they officially closed their doors a day early!

We are so glad we got to experience this little slice of nostalgia before it was gone! ❤️

Growing up watching Pee-wee’s Playhouse and Pee-wee’s movies, I never imagined that, as an adult, I would get to relive those childhood memories by shopping in a store dedicated to such an iconic show and character. It was a total blast from the past! And of course, Brie got to be part of the fun as it was dog friendly. 🐶

MISSED THE POP-UP? Don’t be bummed! You can still shop for Pee-wee merch online. 🎁

TOMS RIVER, NJ: we recently shared our visit to @the.miraclepub, but one trip just wasn’t enough! After being so impressed with their incredible dog friendly atmosphere, delicious food, creative drinks, welcoming staff, and friendly patrons, we had to come back for another visit.

Miracle Pub truly goes above and beyond for dog lovers. Not only is their outdoor patio perfect for pups, but dogs are also welcome inside, making it an ideal spot no matter the weather.

The menu is packed with tempting options and choosing what to order was no easy task! We settled on a veggie panini and burger sliders, both of which hit the spot. Their seasonal cocktail menu is equally impressive, and the Apple Pie Sangria is basically fall in a glass. 🍎🍷

With games playing on the TVs and unique decor and artwork covering every wall, there is always something to enjoy while you are there. But what really sets Miracle Pub apart is the people. A huge shoutout to the bartenders, servers, and managers who consistently provide outstanding service and make every guest feel welcome.

And of course, Brie is always a fan. Between all the attention she gets, a fresh water bowl, and complimentary popcorn, she feels just as spoiled as we do! 🐾❤️

If you are looking for a dog friendly spot with great food, tasty drinks, and a staff that treats you like family, Miracle Pub is definitely worth a visit.

🥶 We are doing it AGAIN! Brie and her family are proud to participate in the @mcspca Polar Plunge on November 28 in Belmar, NJ! 🌊💙

But this is about SO much more than taking a chilly dip! 🧊 We are jumping in to help animals who desperately need a second chance, a loving home, and the care they deserve. 🐶🐱❤️

SEASIDE HEIGHTS: nothing beats a stroll on the iconic boardwalk, and whenever the opportunity comes around, we are happy to take it in Seaside Heights!

One of our favorite times to visit is during the town’s special dog friendly events, when leashed pups are welcomed on the boardwalk to explore the shops, games, amusements, restaurants, and all the sights that make this Jersey Shore destination so memorable.

A highlight is always @casinopiernj’s Pups & Pints celebration, where dogs can enjoy fun activities like carousel rides, doggy sundaes, pet caricatures, personalized photo IDs, and custom dog tags. Meanwhile, pet parents can take advantage of discounted beer pints and great deals on unlimited ride wristbands, making it a fun day out for the whole family.

BURLINGTON: 🍻 @swedesborobrewingcompany now has three locations across New Jersey, and we recently checked out their newest spot in Burlington, affectionately known as the Raccoon Pubhaus (@raccoonpubhaus)!

Formerly Third State Brewing, this location has kept the same welcoming, laid-back vibe that made it a favorite. The dog friendly taproom is warm and inviting, with games, a TV for the big game, and plenty of space for leashed, well-behaved pups to hang out alongside their humans. 🐾

Located right in the heart of downtown, it is the perfect place to grab a beer, relax, and do a little people-watching from one of the outdoor tables. We sampled a few pours, and with a full beer menu available, there is plenty to explore for every craft beer fan.

And maybe the best surprise of the visit? Seeing bartender Dave again! He is new to the Pubhaus but has long been one of our favorite brewery faces from the area.

Note: dogs & kids are allowed until 7pm. If you are exploring Burlington, be sure to stop by this awesome brewery just a couple of blocks from the Delaware River waterfront. 🍺🐶
