Management isn’t avoidance… it’s prevention of over exposure to stressful events, and builds resilience!

It’s hard to learn things when your emotions are being triggered repeatedly. Give yourself (and your dog) the gift of a script to follow when the moment isn’t right for behavioral therapy!

Working spots available, auditing is unlimited, and this term we’re adding zoom support meetings to build community! Come join us.

Here we go! My flagship Active Management Program is off and running and it’s time to grab your space! Don’t let another barky lungey day go by, trying to improvise and salvage your walk, apologizing over your shoulder. We can change this!

Zoom meetings added this term, and if you like them, they’ll become standard!

This Saturday, everyone! A whole day on living with a group of hooligans (or just two, which can for sure be harder than one, sometimes!).

I’ll be talking about handling reactivity, but you can also learn about integrating a new dog, reading body language quickly, handling competition between your dogs, and how to fully manage if integration isn’t in the cards.

$89, 6 instructors, two full panels, and tons of learning!

Patterns soothe, and pattern violations amuse! Have you thought of the role of patterns when working with dogs? Conversations, whether supportive and collaborative or amusing and even cheeky, are the foundation of respect, because they allow everyone to be heard and valued.

Enrollment closing today for all FDSA classes, and if you’re looking to learn how patterns can help you, Kim is who you want to guide you. She’s kind and compassionate, and invested in your dog’s experience. Pick up her deep dive into Control Unleashed before it’s gone!

Behavior issues are social ones. We can unknowingly put dogs into conflict-resolution space and then get stuck trying to solve the wrong problem, digging deeper holes.

Come learn to listen with your eyes and speak with your body in ways that just make sense to your dog, and watch how much they change. Your dog is waiting for you to see them.

Enrollment closes 8/15 (early 8/16 in some time zones). Last time class will run until 2027.

What does your brain hear when you hear barking? Is it just noise? Do you hear words being shouted at you? Does your nervous system hear it before your mind does?

Barking is communication. Do you get feelings about being communicated at, or do you hear words and respond?

The Social Approach is closing enrollment on the 15th, so get in now and we’ll talk communication. And we won’t be teaching them to bark. But we may interpret it!
