Meet Udra. 🐾 The scruffy little terrier who accidentally built a dog training app.

If your dog doesn't sit on cue yet, it's almost never the dog — it's the lure.

The whole trick is: lure the head UP, and the bum drops automatically. Physics, not training.

1. Hold the treat right at their nose
2. Slowly raise it over their head
3. The second their bum touches the floor → mark it (say 'Yes!')
4. Reward in that exact position (not after they stand back up)
5. Add the word 'sit' AFTER they're already doing it 5x in a row
6. 2-min sessions, 3x a day. Don't grind it.

Most dogs get this in under a week. The trap is repeating the cue while they're not sitting — that just teaches them 'sit' means 'eventually sit'. Rewarding fast, in the right moment, and stay quiet, the dog figures it out 🎓

Spoiler: every dog needs training. But some breeds will absolutely lose their mind without a job.

Working and herding breeds at the top of the pyramid weren't bred for cuddle duty — they were bred to outthink livestock all day. Skip the mental work and they'll find their own job (usually destroying your couch).

→ At the top: brain games, scent work, structured training daily
→ In the middle: 1–2 short sessions a day + a long walk
→ At the bottom: still need training, just less intensity. Sniff walks count.
