Did you know you can print on tracing paper?!?! Well I just found this out and what a cute way to play with your brand patterns! It definitely takes some trial and error - sometimes the ink smears and I could use some thicker tracing paper. But wow it’s so fun! If you want to go a little extra for some gifts, etc use your brand patterns as wrapping paper. by @dogoodcreative

I loved working with @biotuitiveskincare on their brand strategy, logo, visual identity and website. They have an amazing product that helps your skin recover after skin care treatments like micro-needling or laser treatments. We wanted for the brand to feel like it is at the intersection of science and nature. by @dogoodcreative

When designing your brand you need to do the work to really understand your purpose, values, your brand voice and who you are helping with your products. The visuals need to all stem from this and reflect those things. It needs to look, feel and sound like you, not a copy of another brand. When you get into a ball of confusion and are constantly changing your mind on what you like or what you want your brand to look like, it means you don’t have the above figured out. When you have a logo and visual identity that reflects those things, it just feels right and it all aligns and makes sense. I have seen many brands go the route of copying another more successful brand, and every time they either go out of business or they end up rebranding. It just doesn’t work long term. So do it right the first time and save yourself a headache or too. by @dogoodcreative

I’m at the phase of the new year where I’m realizing I need to make lots of systems and optimize every second of my time, while at the same time realizing I need time for spontaneity and trying things that don’t work. Have you checked out your end of the year Chat GPT review? 😂 it’s pretty accurate. And while I don’t use it for any actual design work, I still firmly believe that should stay with humans, we do talk a lot about strategy and sooo much tech support. This year I had to figure out shipping things and shipping labels ( 🤪) and for any of you that have done that - hats off to you! by @dogoodcreative
