I can’t believe my best girl is going to be 9 this year. When she started slowing down last year, I really worried about her joint pain and discomfort. I was genuinely shocked by the difference that starting Wuffes made. I could not be more thankful to represent such a high quality product! by @dogtor_carin

“It’s not all puppies and kittens”

This is true… but we still love to see them❤️

By a weird twist of fate I saw these two today for a puppy wellness visit. I saw their dad for mass removal surgery and dental cleaning yesterday. AND I saw their littermate the day before that for an unfortunate parvovirus diagnosis (but he is doing great!). The even weirder part was it was at 3 different practices because I am currently working as a relief veterinarian! by @dogtor_carin

OK but really what was your favorite/worst year of vet school? What year are you suffering/thriving in right now?

I absolutely LOVED first year, but really I loved all the years (thank you @ncstatevetmed).

Second year was the biggest struggle academically, and it was the year where I think I doubted myself the most. Oh and COVID struck, can’t forget about that fun twist.

Every scene of the office really can be tied back to vet med. Thank you @the.office.alliance for the laughs👌🏻 by @dogtor_carin

90 second snap shot of how I saved enough to pay over $130k of student loan debt within 1 year of graduation!

Every story is so different and we all have unique challenges and opportunities throughout the journey. I hope by continuing to share my experience it helps show future veterinarians how to prepare!

9/23/23 - I DID IT!!

I ran around the yard like a crazy person after paying off my student loan balance! I made a reel to capture that joy and relief because the days leading up to it were nothing but nerve wracking and stressful.

I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t share this sooner.. I guess part of me didn’t want to brag and part of me forgot about it quickly and moved on. BUT I hope that this gives someone the encouragement they are looking for today that they CAN pay off a student loan that has been hanging over their head.

Comment or DM me if you would like for me to share how I paid off $133,447.58 in student loans! by @dogtor_carin
