Your dog LOSES IT when another dog walks by? 😤

He's probably NOT aggressive — he probably just wants to play. He just has the WRONG way of doing it.

Watch day ONE: when another dog comes at us, I get out of there and use my body to block. Calm. Clear. No chaos.

You don't need a different dog — you need a different walk. 🐾

"The crate feels harsh." I hear it all the time.
But avoiding the crate doesn't help your dog — it robs them of one of the best confidence-building tools they have. A dog that learns to settle in the crate learns to settle anywhere.

When your dog gets scared, comforting them feels like the right thing. "It's okay baby, don't worry."
But here's what most owners miss: that scary moment is the opportunity. Walk them through it instead of rescuing them from it, and you build real confidence.
I explain exactly how in Episode 2 of the No Dog Turned Away podcast — "How to Read a Dog", link in bio 🎙️

Does your dog demand stuff? 🐕
Barking for food. Nudging for toys. Pawing for play. And most owners give in — every single time.
Here's the problem: every time you give in, you're teaching your dog that demanding works.

As long as your cup is empty, I will work with you.

Take the information. Stir it up, observe it, taste it — then use it.

I'm going to be tough on you. I'm going to make you work. But I'm also going to help you, every step.

That's what training with me looks like.

A puppy. A wind-blown bush. And a lesson most owners miss.

Most people comfort a scared puppy — "it's okay baby" — and walk away. That comfort feels kind, but it keeps the puppy scared.

I brought her back to the bush. No over-comforting. Just stay there until she saw nothing happens. That's how confidence is built.

Save this for your puppy's next scary moment. 🐾

Tip 3: Crate train EARLY.

One of the biggest mistakes I see: not teaching the crate while the dog is a puppy.

Teach it young and it's a skill they keep for life. Wait until they're big and strong, and now you're fighting a dog who never learned it.

Save this if there's a puppy in your future. 📌

Tip 2: Don't let your older dog train your puppy.

You wouldn't have your older kids raise your younger kids — you raise them yourself. Same with dogs.

If the older dog does the teaching, you don't know if the puppy will listen to YOU when it matters, and the bond between you and that puppy won't be as strong.

Train the puppy yourself. Share this with someone who just brought a puppy home to an older dog. 🐾

Tip 1: Every dog needs training.

Most owners try to figure it out alone — like walking into a doctor's office and prescribing your own medication. And most wait until something really bad happens before asking for help. By then, the dog has missed months of training it could have had.

Don't wait for a problem. Start now, while it's easy.

Save this if you've been "waiting to see" how your dog turns out. 📌
