Apple pie doughnut (vg) from @doh_gla

Had to try the seasonal special while dropping off some stock. Loved how the apple filling was spiced and not too sweet, perfectly complementing the sweet crumble topping and drizzle. You can really tell how fresh these are—they’re somehow so light and fluffy.

Our Blackberry Cheesecake is all treat and no trick.

Coated in our homemade blackberry compote icing this doughnut is a quiet gem.

It's topped with biscuit crumb and a swirl of our homemade vanilla cheesecake, and then even more of our blackberry compote and a whole fresh blackberry.

Get down and grab one they have been flying this week.

Turns out there isn’t a type of day a doughnut doesn’t make better 🍩

Don't worry Glasgow I've done the leg work for you and tested this theory extensively. It's absolutely true.

Scotland’s TOP 3 BEST Fudge Doughnuts! 🍩

From big family-run bakeries to tiny independent doughnut shops, the humble custard and fudge doughnut is a staple that so many Scots have grown up eating. And honestly, I think it deserves to be celebrated as part of Scotland’s food identity!

So I went on a mission to try 3 of Scotland’s best fudge doughnut spots 👀

🍩 1. @baynesfamilybakers | £1.50
The nostalgic grab-and-go classic. Doughy, aerated and the kind of doughnut that might remind you of your childhood.

🍩 2. @fisheranddonaldson | £1.99
A traditional Scottish bakery with over a century of history. Expect thin dough, LOTS of custard and a thick layer of fudge.

🍩 3. @doh_gla, Glasgow | £3.50
An independent doughnut business putting its own spin on the classic. Rich, indulgent and with a vanilla custard filling that really stands out.

Three bakeries, three different takes on the same Scottish favourite. 🤤

WHERE DO YOU GET THE BEST FUDGE DOUGHNUT IN SCOTLAND?

Tell me your favourite local bakery in the comments because I need to know where to go next! by @doh_gla

This week it's been pumpkin spiced cheesecake, milk chocolate glaze doughnuts and salted iced lattes, pretty much on repeat 🍩

We're not saying our regulars have great taste. We're just saying they have outstanding taste! 😜

Come see what the fuss is about.

Savoury Sketchbook x @doh_gla is here! 🍩

I had the absolute best time illustrating Doh’s iconic Homer doughnut for this card.

Made using recycled and compostable materials, it’s light on the planet while celebrating a Glasgow favourite.

Hyndland street turns one tomorrow!! 🎊🎉🍩

The past year has flown by, it really feels like yesterday that we opened. This was such a fun project to do, with our design master @louisbrown08 . A crazy whirlwind of little sleep and long days (and some mad credit card purchases) to get there. What has developed over the past year has really blown us away, with new and old regulars visiting every week. It really has been good vibes only.

To continue the goodness we're giving away one £40 voucher tomorrow at Hyndland Street 🤑
The only way to enter is to come to Hyndland Street in person and purchase something. We'll collect your contact details, and the winner will be chosen from a hat. To reiterate you can only enter at Hyndland St! We will have some special birthday doughnuts and drinks on as well.

THANK YOU x 3000 to everyone who continues to shop at our independent business. It really still means so much to us and as long as you keep coming we'll continue to do our thing and continually try to be even better! 🩷

See you tomorrow! Come give the staff some one year love 💕 by @doh_gla

We’re not saying this is fate. We’re just saying it’s Friday and we’re open.

Swing by and see for yourself.

If this isn't how the perfect weekend in Glasgow starts we don't know what is.

The doughnuts are fresh, the coffee is hot (or iced if you prefer) and the mood is chilled. Perfect.

See you soon on King Street or Hyndland Street soon.
