All the artists involved were going through different shades of struggle which became the meeting point of getting together to create something that would express the emotion that makes us wanna do this in spite of it all, the result had to be special because the conversations were and thus came forth the visual landscape for the song ‘Freedom.’

Been doing everything myself, such toil, I hate it sometimes, hate the exhaustion, it’s a hard hard road. But I’ll do it, forever, I’ll keep learning more loving ways of doing things that are challenging, to figure your path in this crazy, wild, sometimes defeating, look closer and divinely beautiful world. I was so caught up and my friends said, “bro you gotta make a post, let em know that album’s coming out” “HYPE”. Somewhere romantically I do believe the notion that people will catch up to the greatness and genius I bring to the table, I mostly focus on getting better at what I do and even more on how I live. I do feel I am doing things I would’ve loved if someone else were doing it.

GODS & LOWLIFES, is not just the name of my new album but the summary of last 2 something years enveloped in it a million little and large transformations. The culmination of them all in form of songs comes out TONITE, MIDNIGHT.

To remember and it is such a simple thing to remember but we forget it a lot, that we’re ultimately all alone, it’s our own lives that we have to first truly live and understand. The quality of our love and our friendship our relationships with the world and another just cannot extend more than the quality we have discovered and built for our own selves. A human being’s life is a compilation of endless long books. And Instagram or any other outlet will fail to capture it. Only and always art will get close.

I can keep on going but some moments I like to share in person rather than virtual, I’m celebrating the release of this album tomorrow SEPT 12 @antisocialoffline MUMBAI w @madboymink @ @wildwildwomen_

I’ll have to make so many posts about @medicatedmints who helped shape the sound of this album incredibly. He’s mixed/mastered and co produced the album.

@keshi_ritesh has been an integral part with the visual identity of this album. I love who he is and what he does. He’s made the Freedom video with me and designed this album art.

I truly thank @tbonestakez @joshurbanned @komorebi.music @zalmaaaaaaaaaa @arpanintended @pranayparti @shantanman @_skanke @jay_manunited they all played an integral part in this process.

Since early on, I felt not great at much in life, which is fine. I just was average in most areas of life but I really wanted to be involved in something which I would want to work hard for and grow for and to feel that bliss. Then I was given that gift, the gift to love something fully, for me that’d be the art of storytelling through songs and performance.

I’m starting to find that place within myself which any artist would find should they go as long, hard and consistently as I have, you start to find more clarity in your choices about what you want to be in context to the world around you.

Everyone who’s shown up at these last few shows. It’s such a privilege to share this with you. You make it come alive. Thank you. It’s been extremely special.

I just can’t thank enough my bandmates man. We all seem to have come together by other forces I believe. We’re together starting to make a sound now that has been everything I dreamed of and it’s only a start. I’m starting to find the nerve of what kind of shows we wanna put on. @anshul_lall on them drums @arpanintended on sickest basslines @medicatedmints on lead guitar + musical director @krishna__madan on keyboards @realkarigar on guitar

I’m ready to be richer so that I can bring to fruition all the dance grooves, song rooms and movies in my head. I’m relying on each one of you. Let’s make it happen 🤭

This is the earliest recorded footage I have of me performing. Learning to sing and write music would happen next. I’m so grateful for how it’s been and excited for what’s next.

I don’t understand anything enough, I don’t claim to be more or less than what I am but what I do know is I have a radar, a sense, which catches what’s good for my soul and what isn’t, I ain’t wise but I go right till the end. And when it’s hard, when it gets tough, I believe in embracing, turning your spirits up, dancing. Sharing all of this with each other, putting your SOS out in the world. That’s the best way to be.

All this I get to do with the support of the most incredible human beings, who I get to call friends, each of them incredible at their instrument.
