Ok so here are some previous powerlifting meets I’ve competed in at 165lbs. This year I plan to compete at a heavier weight class 180 if I can sustain the weight. My numbers have fallen significantly but im rebuilding. I like the southern powerlifting federation all the competitors were great. I love deficit deadlifts they really help boost your strength. If you aren’t using this variant stiff leg or traditional do it. Practice with light weight no need in risking injury for ego. This little girl and I have come a long way. Looking back I’ve realized all the progress I’ve made hasn’t been for nothing. If I hadn’t listened to the veteran’s affairs hospital I would’ve missed out on a life long pal. Got her when she was a few weeks old in Arkansas. She will be 8 this year we started in 2013 after my navy service crashed for me. New year same grind I refuse to step off the path haha. Today was shoulder/chest day here is one of the many combinations I made up. You can do this however you want, the object of it is muscle mastery or learning how your body works. A light set of 12 followed by 5 that’s one super set, change the fly angles or pressing style bare minimum 4-5 sets.
