Intimate, meaningful, and exactly them ✨

It was a joy to capture @biancawejnger and @lazaro_vinicius10 ’s civil ceremony in Rio de Janeiro. Just the two of them and their closest family, gathered in a charming, cozy French-style house—the perfect setting to celebrate such a special moment.

Carol & Daniel’s Wedding in Brazil | Part I

It was one of those days that felt exactly the way it was meant to be. After a cloudy Friday, Saturday arrived with clear skies, beautiful light, and the kind of sunset that makes everyone stop for a second just to take it all in.
Surrounded by the people they love the most, they lived a day that was emotional, joyful, and deeply real. There were tears, tight hugs, laughter, dancing, wind in their hair, and so much love in every little moment. The energy from them, their families, and their friends made everything feel incredibly special in a way that’s hard to fully describe.
I feel deeply grateful and honored to have documented this story and witnessed it all so closely. So here are a few of our favorites 💛

Foi um daqueles dias que aconteceram exatamente como tinham que acontecer. Depois de uma sexta-feira nublada, o sábado chegou com céu aberto, uma luz linda e um pôr do sol daqueles que fazem todo mundo parar por alguns segundos só para sentir o momento.
Rodeados pelas pessoas que mais amam, eles viveram um dia emocionante, leve e profundamente verdadeiro. Teve lágrimas, abraços apertados, risadas, dança, vento no cabelo e muito amor em cada pequeno instante. A energia deles, das famílias e dos amigos transformou tudo em algo incrivelmente especial, difícil até de descrever.

Sometimes I have the feeling that certain couples are somehow chosen for us to photograph, because I can’t explain any other way just how blessed we feel by every story we have the privilege of capturing.

People who trust us with one of the most important days of their lives, who welcome us with so much warmth and who, without even realizing it, teach us so much about life and about love.

And with you, I learned what it means to put someone else first. From the very beginning of that day — and even after it — I saw it in so many little gestures. In the way you cared, the way you served, the way you were always thinking about how to make the other person happy. I saw it between you, in your families, and in the way that love seemed to reach everyone around you.

And maybe that’s exactly what made your wedding so special. Because before it was a beautiful day, it was a day filled with love. The kind of love that doesn’t need to be spoken all the time to be felt. The kind you see in gestures, in glances, in choices and, most of all, in actions.
I came home after a full day of photographing with a full heart, feeling as though I had received something from you too.

I was there to capture your story, but somehow, while I was preserving it in photographs, it was also leaving a mark on me.

What a privilege to have been chosen to tell a little piece of your love story. 💛✨

The first wedding of our season in Brazil this year, and I can honestly say we couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin. What an incredible day yours was.
