The Knox photographer visited my Dungeons, Dragons, and Deutsch class earlier this trimester to capture some promotional imagery and update our websites. I just got copies of some of the pictures and am utterly delighted by the joy I had in teaching this class. This is one of those times when a ten-week trimester feels way too short. #academia #teachersofinstagram #dungeonsanddragons taken in Knox College by @doktorbrandy

Sure you’ve felt joy before but have you ever felt surprise “seeing your name in lights celebrating the biggest accomplishment of your life” joy?

If so, I’m very happy for you. And I’m very happy for me. taken in State Street Theater by @doktorbrandy

Here’s a close-up on my sunnies.

I got PRK surgery a few years back. That’s the precursor to LASIK surgery—it’s less invasive and takes longer to heal from, but the results are more consistent and there’s no stitches involved. In any case, my eyes are pretty sensitive to light now, and I have to wear sunglasses outside. These ones from @biddell are amazing. Cute, functional, sturdy, and (best of all) they stay on my face! by @doktorbrandy
