Favourite flavour tried: macadamia nut cream

Flavours eaten by the cup: 1) pistachio crumble 2) salted caramel + mango cheesecake

Taiwanese @dintaifunguk lunch for 3

~ Oriental salad with vinegar dressing
~ Braised aubergine
~ String beans with dried shrimp & pork
~ Prawn & pork wontons in a spicy sauce
~ Mushroom & truffle Xiao long bao
~ Crispy prawn pancake

Speedy service with a 1-hr turnaround insisted for the table.

Petite but delicious portions and great to pass by and see the chefs in action.

First trip to @bitetwicefoodreviews new thin crust pizza haunt @carmysldn in Covent Garden and I'll be back!

Simple, popularist flavours by the slice or whole pizza. Min seating avail so be prepared to grab and go.

Slices: 1) loaded pep + 2) house vodka + 3) pep ~ all delicious

Mains: Paper roast masala dosai with chutneys and chilli paneer
Dessert: Falooda float

I owned @cynthia.uma cookbook ~ Rambutan before I actually dined at @rambutan_ldn and her pages came alive today. With parents' from the same hometown; Jaffna in Sri Lanka, I felt like I was in a safe pair of hands.

In the heart of Borough Market, the best seats were at the counter watching the chefs at the grill and authentic clay stoves. Loved the chef flipping delicate gundu dosas, served with coriander sambol.

Shared small plates in abundance ~ Heritage tomatoes & bitter gourd sambol, roasted aubergine moju with shiso & butter roti. Mutton and Jerusalem artichoke dry black curry with sambar rice.
Washed down with Alphonso mango zero bubble and Ceylon lime iced tea.
Finished with a double scoop of milk toffee ice cream + strawberry & hibiscus sorbet 😋

A definite treat restaurant, with authentic Sri Lankan regional dishes. I wasn't asked about spice levels but only the moju had a kick so don't be fearful of fieriness! taken in Rambutan by @dolcedini

Sunday stroll to @walthamstowwetlands
Great for a morning jog and family stroll (with birdspotting, bee hotel and rock piles for the kids).
Refreshments can be purchased from the Engine room cafe.

Sunny day trip with stunning view of the sea from the White Cliffs of Dover and a sighting of France. From the tip, my roaming even switched on!

I stumbled on a tearoom from a bygone era to have a well deserved post-hike tea and cake beside the South Foreland lighthouse.

Also spotted Dover Castle from afar.

Sri Lankan Sunday evening drinks and short eats @hopperslondon @kingscrossn1c

🍹: Watalappam lassi, Hibiscus negroni, Pettah sling (loved the charred pineapple)
🍴: Kiri hodi mussels (sauce was delicious but the mussels were tiny and gritty) & devilled cuttlefish

* Comped on drinks (due to ticket machine error and drinks taking an hr to be served and mussels - see above). All not normal for Hoppers, so hope a one-off.

Flying Goose the OG of Sriracha sauce are hosting a pop-up in London until 20/06/26..
With a plethora of hot sauce and mayo flavours to try. A fun pop-up to visit with merch for sale, a themed cafe (try a coffee with sriracha foam) and the tasting bar to trial as hot as you can go, right up to ghost chilli 🔥

All the flavours are on sale and the 1st 50 daily to the store get a free bottle.

Visited Middle-Eastern cafe @farha.london in Leyton, East London (5 mins from Leyton tube station)

The minimalist chic cafe is a tardis, with plenty of seating inside. The pastries on offer were beautifully presented with some crowd pleasing flavour combos for both sweet (chai custard tart /banana brulee) and savoury (zatar & feta /roasted tomato & aubergine)

I tried the pecan double baked croissant and a latte with the Colombian roast 😋. taken in Leyton by @dolcedini
