Keeping up the rumours of being the menace phantom who only posts three times in a row once a year.

Instead of hoarding photos on my phone and complaining about storage. 🤣 by @doll_anima

Ever since moving up here, it’s been a mix of "ooo, exciting new experiences" and "a headless chicken has a better grip on life than I do right now." But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that no matter where you’re from, what you look like, or how you live your life, there will always be a space that welcomes you.

Nowhere’s perfect, but I’ve found a home and a community here that I always hoped I’d find one day. Going into this new year has made me reflect on all the little moments that led me to the people I’m surrounded by now. Thankful or grateful doesn’t even come close. 🖤 by @doll_anima

⚡️Another edition to our little family!⚡️
Welcome Ash Blackwell - our market coordinator!
Shes incredibly talented and a knack for everything gothy and witchy!
Here's a little message from her:
I met the Dark Reign team a year ago at Dark Reign Edition II through some friends, instantly clicked, and somehow ended up at their afterparty, where I realised they lived five minutes away. I basically became a walking-distance regular, and seeing their passion for live music and community first-hand pulled me in even more. Now I’m officially part of the team!

Music has always had me in a chokehold, so joining the Dark Reign family feels pretty special. This year I’ll be coordinating the alternative market, so if you spot me at the festival, come say hi! I’m always happy to help. 🖤

Come hangout with our twisted little team on the 2nd of May at Future Yard

Memories From Venice Pt 3

We moved between quiet corners and bustling touristy spots, exploring for a while before retreating back to our cosy apartment. Falling asleep to the sound of water and gondolas instead of cars and constant chatter felt like stepping out of real life for a bit. Venice has a way of softening everything, even the noise feels gentler somehow.

Memories From Venice Pt 2

Evenings were spent eating the best Venetian food, visiting the one and only jazz club, or making our own entertainment, music playing quietly from our phones, dancing together in a square under the stars. We didn’t do much of the touristy shit, but if anything that’s what made it more special. There’s an Italian phrase, il dolce far niente, the sweetness of doing nothing, that really felt like the theme of the whole trip. by @doll_anima

Memories From Venice Pt 1

Some of my favourite moments were the simplest ones, wandering aimlessly until we were tired, finding somewhere to eat or drink, then lounging wherever we could get comfortable. Sketchbooks out, drawing whatever caught our eye. One was so hot that shade from a rare patch of trees along the canal felt like absolute bliss, other days we basked in the sun or on a small dock, watching the city drift past while we drew, ate & drank.
