SandSaier’s birthday is on

🤍💜18 October💜🤍

And I wanted to organise a little DTIYS as a sort of birthday present for her.

The challenge would run until 18 November. But to show my gratitude to you all, there’ll be some winners. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll pick them by lottery or judge them based on other criteria. But first prize would be:

1. Fully rendered full body
2. Fully rendered half body
3 & 4. A drawing of YCH with SandSaier

The challenge starts today, and if you’re submitting an entry, please tag your drawing with the hashtag

#sandsaiersbirthdaydtiys

Thanks again and have fun with it💜

I’ve finally done it. The ultimate reference sheet for SandSaier. (Thx again @_etternalterror_ that I could take references out of your reference sheet💜)

I’ve given her story a great deal of thought, redrawn lots of things to visualise it better and, to be honest, I’ve never been so dedicated and motivated to do this on such a scale.

What started with ‘I absolutely want a TFC character for Artfight’ has become my favourite character to draw. Seeing that, for many others too, my SandSaier represents exactly that makes me incredibly happy. I’d really missed being so passionate about one of my characters, but that was made possible by the people with whom I was able to talk so intensively about TFC and SandSaier. Because it’s the first time I’ve been able to talk to other people about my fandom OC. I’d never really been deeply involved in fandoms or interacted with people like that before, but through The Freak Circus I’ve actually made some proper new friends.

Ever since the day I first received a drawing of her, I’ve been saving everything in a folder on my mobile.

So thank you all for showing her so much love💜🥹

Since my last “Meet the Artist” post was just over a year ago, I thought I’d give myself an early birthday present. ✨

Since I’ve been working more with Adobe programs lately, I drew the illustration in Procreate and then finished the scrapbook layout in Illustrator. This was something completely new for me, and I love it!

„Archy has done his very best to behave himself today. That’s because Sandy promised him that, if he behaved well, he’d be allowed to make one wish. And he’s currently fulfilling that promise that sandy made.“

It took so damn long to draw. Working right know sucks all the energy out of me, but goddamn aren’t they cute???

@blitzsen and me are constantly yapping about them too like look at them, the maniac and the calm one. Totally shipping it!

Some day I had the urge, that I just wanted to squish their cheeks… made art out of it and turned them into squishable buttons… it’s so nice to be an artist xD

A FREAKING LOOOOOOOONG overdue art trade. When I’m at conventions I usually ask artist if they want to do an art trade with me. They should imagine, how they think Dollmay will look like, when she has a human/kemonomimi form.

And normally I do it like them, on paper, with a pencil, at that convention…. Yeah sooo I couldn’t do it and then months took place and yada yada yada…

So as a little bit of compensation for it I drew both of their new mascots magnus (the bunny one) and elio (snow leopard) and put some color in it.✨

Aaaaand apparently I was the first one outside of them to draw them hehe, feels like a honor to me 💜

Omg it’s my very first animation meme here ahhhhhhhhh. I mean how much can I fall in love with a fandom and then also make animations.

Little side fact: Sandy lived actually the first half of her live in Germany in a forest called Pfälzerwald. There she was, really lonely before she joined into the circus
