Pokemon Gamma Emerald (early access) dropped today FOR FREE

@undreamedpanic is rebuilding the game from the ground up, and so far it looks/feels amazing

A lot of quality of life improvements, but most importantly just bringing a classic to life in a way that’s loooong overdue

Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow can now be experienced in a voxel world thanks to Gen1Recomp

I finally saw enough of it over the last few days to get curious enough and try it myself, and once I enabled VR, it really is the first time I’ve been this shocked with my experience of a game in a very long time

In 2006, there was a shot the finals would come down to PHX and MIA

Nash dropped 21 & 14 while Wade responded w/25

The Suns were without Stoudemire, but employed the “Haslem rules” where they basically left him open in favor of heavy D on Shaq, holding him to 15pts

Nash would go on to win MVP, but fall two games short of the NBA finals where Wade took FMVP

Luol Deng wasn’t playing in this game against the Heat but still almost injured his neck 😂

Taking some time to use as many teams as I can online, mostly to get a better idea of the lineups before I do team previews

It remains very fun to play with guys like Luka who have a very distinct style. It definitely was not always possible to actually take and make the shots they do in real life.

The Sonics & Mavs met in December of 1994

Jason Kidd recalled he’d said something to Gary Payton that set him off this game, but aside from that, it was a fun watch in general

This Mavs team had talent, and Jason Kidd’s passes were highlights despite foul trouble slowing him most the game.

Tracy McGrady and Steve Francis battled in early 2005 after being traded for one another

The crowd booed McGrady as loud as possible every time he touched the ball, during interviews, etc because he admitted toward the end of his time with the Magic, he wasn’t playing as hard

Neither of them shot well this game, but it was still a fun battle between 2000s shooting guards 🏀

One thing that has been more and more fun over the years in 2K is being able to get shots off and create off the dribble using real players

Hard to remember now, but there was a time where mid range in general just felt a little useless
