Co-created with Domaine Tempier, this bespoke keyring brings together wine heritage, material innovation and local craftsmanship. Designed by Domaine Tempier the keyring was made with our Savigne by Planet of the Grapes®, our biomaterial created with grape marc which we source directly from our local winemakers in Provence, the South of France.

Founded in 1834 in Bandol, Provence, Domaine Tempier is renowned for its Mourvèdre-led wines and its enduring influence on the Bandol appellation. Its emblematic sailing ship - which gives form to the shape of the keyring and the emblem upon it - is a distinctive symbol of the Domaine’s heritage and Mediterranean roots.

A pinch me day @domaine_tempier! I can’t think about Bandol without imagining the Domaine Tempier label - thanks to @kermitlynchwine importing, this is a rose I treat myself to in the states when I can find it.

The winery is truly the heart of Bandol’s story, and we loved hearing all about it (plot twist, the family matriarch is the highlight of their story). While the estate dates to 1834, Lucie “Lulu” Tempier and Lucien Peyraud helped revive Bandol after World War II, championing Mourvèdre and proving this region could produce some of France’s most age-worthy wines.

Walking these vineyards felt like stepping into a place that shaped wine history. A visit I’ll never forget. 🍷🇫🇷

Forget Provence rosé. You need to try a Bandol red 🍷🇫🇷
You might have only thought of Provence for making rosé, but Bandol reds are an incredibly underrated wine style.

Domaine Tempier are the pioneers of the Bandol appellation, and they’re quite iconic around here. Still family-run since 1834, they are certified organic and having an attempt at biodynamics too.

The red wines are based on the grape Mourvèdre. The style is rich and tannic when young but develops so beautifully with age, like wild forest black and red fruits and a chalky, dusty earthiness with a beautiful floral lift. For us, lovers of bold earthy Italian reds like Brunello, these wines hit just right 🥀🍒🍓🫐🪨🌿

We tried these wines a few years ago and fell in love.

A member of the family, Nirvan, showed us around and we even tasted a 1971 vintage, which was 🔥 😮‍💨

An iconic fact is that Lulu, the grandma after whom the Lulu & Lucien wine is named, lived until 103. Legend!
