MY GOD DID NOT FAIL 👏🏼
& He never does!!!
-
The Lord was guiding my path throughout this entire journey, but it wasn’t until the last few years that I truly dove into my faith & fully TRUSTED Him. To give up that control was so hard, but wow…it made the BIGGEST difference. Staying obedient & pushing through all the trials was worth it. My story is now my testimony & I have the Lord above to thank for that!
-
While getting into dental school was not easy, I would do it all again to experience the feelings of pure gratitude I have been able to hold on to ANY day. God is so much bigger than our plans (I found that out after my first rejection lol) & I promise if you let go, use discernment, & allow Him to lead you, you will not be lead astray!

Through all the tears, both sorrowful & grateful, God is GOOD & His mercy is everlasting!!!! 🫶🏼

6 years, 4 DAT’s, 3 application cycles, 2 rejections, 1 interview, 1 ‘Waitlisted’ letter, & 1 life-changing phone call later…
I HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN ACCEPTED TO DENTAL SCHOOL 🥹😭
-
To say this time in my life has been an emotional one is an understatement. I have continuously prayed for this moment & God showed up better than I could have ever imagined— as He ALWAYS does! There is so much gratitude in my heart that I just simply do not know what to do with it! Working for something as long as I did, with all the trials/bumps in the road I endured, makes this goal feel even more surreal. I have to pinch myself every day & realize that this 12-year-old dream of mine has FINALLY come true after all these years 😭
-
I pray this is a testament to those of you who have God-sized goals to never give up on your dreams, no matter what is thrown your way.

“The tests you endure along the way become your TESTimony.” - Ed Mylett

To those of you who have watched this journey unfold, THANK YOU. Thank you for believing in me, speaking life into me, & supporting me along the way. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to be surrounded by the most amazing group of people! This genuinely feels like an accomplishment for ALL of us! I am looking forward to seeing how the Lord continues to use His hands in my life throughout the next 4 years & beyond 🩵

Throwing it BACK to a killer workout 🤪
I am finally sharing my go-to back day breakdown:

💖 Lat Pulldowns - 3x10-12
💖 Seated cable row - 3x10-12
💖 Single arm lat pulldown - 3x10-12
💖 Seated plate-loaded row - 3x8-10 (lifting HEAVY)
💖 Single-arm bent over row - 3x10
💖 Finisher: Rear delt cable flies 3x15, or until failure
-
Consider this your sign to stop skipping back day! Save this workout & thank me later 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻

In honor of BROB’s birthday today, here is a compilation of our hyrox-style workout a few weeks ago! I figured posting this was a perfect look into our friendship 😂
-
Needless to say, I am so thankful for you, B! There is no one I would rather challenge myself & do crazy things with 🤪 You keep life exciting, full of joy, always reminding me to put on my positive pants & to never give up when things get hard. I somehow thought I had enough sass to go around, but then came you— what a gift to the world!!! Cheers to 25 years of YOU & 94 days until we take on our most challenging feat yet 🥳 LET’S DO THIS! 👏🏼
