Sometimes wellness looks like slowing down. I recently spent the day at @sojospaclub in Edgewater, NJ, and this was exactly the kind of reset I needed. From relaxing in the pools and taking in the views to enjoying good food and simply giving myself permission to unplug for a few hours, the entire experience reminded me that rest deserves a place in our wellness routines too.

One of my favorite health and wellness tips is simple: intentionally make space for the things that help you recharge. It doesn’t always have to be a major vacation or elaborate self-care routine. Sometimes it’s just stepping away from your normal routine and giving your mind and body a chance to slow down.

Come spend a spa day with me at SoJo. 💆🏽‍♀️♨️✨

Would you add a spa day to your wellness routine?

Inspired by beauty. Reimagined as me. 🌿✨ Sometimes you see something so beautiful it sparks something in you. This was one of those moments. A little inspiration, a little imagination, and my own interpretation. 🌺🤍 Consider the muse activated.

POV: you came for a pool day and your skin decided to be the main character. ☀️
No full beat. Just sunscreen, a little lip gloss, sunshine, and letting my skin do what it does. 😎🌴💦
I’ve learned that the best glow isn’t always something you put on your skin. Hydration, taking care of yourself, protecting your skin, and actually enjoying your life will have you glowing a little different. And listen… when the skin is skinning, you document it. 😂📸

What’s one thing you swear by for glowing skin? Drop it in the comments because I’m always looking for something new. 👇🏾

Philly… Mamajuana Cafe did NOT come to play 🇩🇴🔥

The oxtails with rice & peas? FLAVOR on 100. 🤤 The empanadas? Gone immediately. The mangú was sooo creamy, and that Tres Golpes sushi?! I’m still thinking about it. 😮‍💨🍣

The food was phenomenal, the ambiance was a whole vibe, and apparently the hiring requirements include being eye candy because… 👀😂

Dominican food with a twist, and they absolutely nailed it.

What are you ordering first: oxtails, mangú, or the Tres Golpes sushi? 👇🏽

First time at the new Yankee Stadium and I think I understood the assignment ⚾️🗽✨

A little Bronx night out, baseball, good vibes, and way too many pictures for the camera roll. 😂📸

🌟 Resetting for the Week 🌟

Happy Sunday, everyone! Today, I’m taking some time to reset and prepare for a productive week ahead.✨

🧘‍♀️ Self-Care: Starting my week with some much-needed self-care. A relaxing bath and a good book are on my agenda today.

🍲 Meal Prepping: Fueling my body with nutritious meals! I’m spending some time meal prepping for the week to stay healthy and save time. My future self will thank me!

📚 Study Time: As an HR professional, I’m carving out time to study for my certification. Consistent, focused study sessions will bring me closer to my goals.

🗒️ Weekly Planning: Taking a few moments to plan my week. Setting clear intentions and organizing my tasks can make a world of difference.

Let’s make this week a great one! 💪🌈 #SundayReset #SelfCareSunday #MealPrep #HRProfessional #CareerCoach #WeeklyPlanning by @domeagisel

🎨🐾 Had the most amazing time at @muse_paintbar in VA Beach Town Center! 🏖️✨ I got to paint my lovely Chihuahua puppy, Cesar. The instructors were incredibly nice, and the company was just perfect. Enjoyed a margarita, pepperoni flatbread, and some buffalo wings – all delicious! 🍹🍕🍗
