Another step in my music journey 🥁🔥
This lesson is all about combining the Darbuka with a foot pedal. My teacher demonstrates the technique first, then I try to apply it — training coordination, independence, timing, and percussion control. Every new challenge adds another skill to the journey.

A little private jam after the show 🥁❤️
My teacher and I kept playing for a few listeners who stayed nearby. We gave them a joyful percussion groove from the heart — full of rhythm, smiles, and good energy.

A new percussion challenge unlocked 🥁🔥
My teacher started teaching me how to use a pedal with the Cajon. I already love the Cajon, and adding the pedal gives me even more rhythm variations and coordination possibilities. It felt challenging at first, but by the end of the lesson I was really starting to control it.

Three drums, one powerful groove 🥁🔥
My brother is on Cajon, I’m on Darbuka, and our teacher is on Djembe. A fast rhythm, lots of energy, and the best feeling of playing together.

First time playing this beautiful piece 🥁🎶
Me and my teacher played “Lama Bada Yatathana” for the first time. It was a surprise session where I had to listen, feel the music, find the rhythm by myself, and then my teacher joined me.

New wooden Darbuka, warm new groove 🥁🪵
Me and my teacher played a duet, and he tried my new Darbuka made completely from wood. The sound feels warm, natural, and perfect for a special teacher-student jam.

And I try to repeat it 🔥

This is advanced darbuka training 😳
