It’s been a little over two weeks since you’ve been gone.
I still dont want to accept my new reality.
I wake up every morning hoping it was all just a bad dream and wait for your call.
A call I’ll never get.
I dont know how I’m suppose to just continue life without you dad.
The milestones I was looking forward to…
Walking me down the aisle. Our father daughter dance. Meeting my babies when i finally decided to go down that path. Just completely robbed from me.
To the community you were a friend, a mentor, an idol, a respected public figure, but to me you were just my dad. My protector, my best friend, my twin.
The outpour of love and support from everyone has been heartwarming. It brings me joy knowing how many hearts you touched. I hope heaven knows what kind of angel they have. It breaks my heart knowing I will grieve you longer than i got to be your daughter. Maybe in another life I’ll get to be your little girl a little longer.
Good night dad.
Happy heavenly birthday.
I love you

Forever,
Your baby girl. by @dominique.dd

“The pain I feel now, is the happiness I had before. That’s the deal” -C.S Lewis

Dallas took his final breath today, and with it, a piece of my soul went with him. You gave me 15 and a half beautiful years I’ll always cherish. Goodnight my angel baby.
I’ll forever miss your cuddles.💙

Run free, my love. Wait for me where the sky meets the stars.
Until we meet again. 💔🐾
