It’s time for a new era! 🙌 This marks one of our greatest milestones and investments so far. This week we took delivery of a brand new @dmgmori DMV110 3-axis machine. This machine has initially one sole purpose, dedicated for one new product line-up. It will also serve as our new backbone for in-house prototyping and production of new parts. Which means we can do rapid prototyping in house to a much greater extent. Expanding our capabilities. Increased precision, accuracy and control. Decreased lead-time and unit-cost. Which in the end results in added value to the end customers. We stay humble as the continued support from customers are growing exponentially, and without you none of this would have been even remotely possible. 🙏 There is so much more to come, so much more to be done. Stay tuned for what’s coming, you won’t be disappointed. #engineeredbydomiworks #designedbydomiworks #madebydomiworks by @domiworks.engineering

Decided to give it a little squirt off the lights. Barely pushed it and it was wayyyyy faster than the factory four-speed 😂 The eight-speed has made such a difference. Sorry for all the wind noise. It was a ripper day and the windows were down ☀️ Anyone got a wind noise solution for the Meta Ray-Bans? #RegalRoverClassics #RangeRoverClassic #8HPSwap #RoverV8 #RayBanMeta by @domiworks.engineering
Teasing of what’s coming! #engineeredbydomiworks #ultim8hp by @domiworks.engineering
Our Range Rover Classic eight-speed conversion, properly installed and finally getting its first proper look underneath. A Land Rover ZF 8HP70 behind the Rover V8, controlled by TurboLamik, with the factory shifter still inside. We’ve shared bits of it going together, but this is how the finished driveline looks in the car. Keeping the original shifter was a big part of this for us. Its mechanical cable connects to our custom bracket and a Haltech linear position sensor alongside the gearbox. Each position is calibrated into TurboLamik as an analogue input. Looks factory, feels factory, controls the eight-speed electronically. Pretty happy with that one. We also designed our own billet crossmember, with powder-coated end plates, stainless hardware and rubber isolators to help keep everything smooth. This started with a message to Daniel at DomiWorks. Over 12 months of development, hundreds of emails, CAD models, physical prototypes and drivetrain parts sent from Australia to Sweden later, here we are. Daniel has been a huge part of bringing this to life. This conversion wouldn’t have happened without him. Together we developed the Rover V8 to Land Rover 8HP70 adapter, custom billet flywheel and LT230 transfer case adapter. These will be available soon through both DomiWorks and Regal Rover Classics, with orders shipped directly from DomiWorks in Sweden. There’s Car Builders heat protection throughout the transmission tunnel, plus a double-layered shield between the exhaust crossover and the transmission pan. Two weeks of driving in, we haven’t felt any exhaust heat coming through into the cabin. Custom front and rear driveshafts finish it off, made by the legends at Faros. Dan came out to our place, measured everything personally and did an epic job with both. Cheers to Mitch at Sunny Coast Auto Detailing for the introduction. A lot of work to get here. Pretty incredible seeing it all together. #RangeRoverClassic #8HP70 #TurboLamik #DomiWorks #ShaftedByFaros by @domiworks.engineering
A competitor used one of our GTR axles for reference to compare against their own products, concluding ours is not as durable, we would like to make a clarifying statement. The referenced axle was modified using an early modification process which is no longer used. This was only done to a handful of axles. Since quite some time we use a totally different method including a completely new made spline part in Orvar Supreme and hardened to specifications. This new part is thoroughly joined to the D Drum spline axle. The results speaks for themselves where our parts are running on among other UKs most powerful GTR. 1785 whp. We always stand by our products, and all customers who eventually have broken their early modified axle will of course be taken care of. Contact us through email or our store contact form. We have seen snapped axles from other competitors as well, but they also seem to have found solutions to improve their modification process. So keep up the good work. Best regards Daniel, DomiWorks by @domiworks.engineering
