A big night for my little film Send and Receive. Thanks to my talented editor and pal Krystal Moss for coming out to celebrate and to my dear friend Fiona for the support and to Geoff for standing by me through thick and thin. And my style team Salima Stanley-Bhanji and Kendall Maybefornow. And of course support from Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des arts du Canada @katehewko taken in CBC Broadcasting Centre by @domkeller

Our first day of shooting S3 for Horse Warriors! Everything went wrong: I got lost driving out, I forgot to gas up my truck the next morning and of course my camera audio was giving me grief. But everything also went right, amazing team around me shooting Jarret Twoyoungmen Jamie Ross @vincent Gary A. Bruckner and a super team Curtis Poitras @joe jackson to follow. Some days I’m pinching myself that I get to tell stories for a living. by @domkeller

Congratulations to all the nominees, and a huge thanks to the @thecdnacademy for recognizing the remarkable participants, crew and collaborators who made this documentary possible.

Wish us luck in Toronto this May! by @domkeller
