Most coaches were never taught how to think through a real case. You can read the books, run the calls, write the meal plans. The moment a client walks in with overlapping issues across hormones, gut, and metabolism, you feel the gap. That gap is where coaches lose authority and where retention falls apart. It is also why the $10K month gets chased before the foundation exists to support it. The more you understand the case, the simpler the plan gets. Better plans keep clients longer, and that is how a real coaching business compounds. The Blu3Prnt Collective is the operating system for serious health coaches who want to close that gap. I got the chance to talk to a group of coaches at a mastermind this past weekend. Most of them were newer in the industry, trying to figure out how to grow, how to stand out, how to keep showing up when it feels like nothing is rly workingI was only supposed to talk for about 30 minutes but I ended up going way longer than planned because I could feel the energy in that room and I knew they needed more than surface level advice. by @domkuza

Two pre-workouts can share identical caffeine, amino acid, and electrolyte doses. But can swap sucralose for steviaEvery zero calorie sweetener takes a different metabolic pathThe human data is more nuanced than most internet framing. There is no single blanket recommendation. Match the sweetener category to the product context. Set intake ceilings for the total polyol dose across your day by @domkuza

Glutamine is one of the most reflexively prescribed gut supplements in functional medicine. The rationale is good tho. It fuels enterocytes, supports tight junction integrity, and helps repair the epithelial barrier. What often does not make it into the protocol conversation is the fact that glutamine also drives secretory IgA production, and that pathway does not stop being active just because the client’s gut is already inflamed. The Wu 2016 mouse mechanism paper is the clearest into what is happening. One percent dietary glutamine for seven days raised ileal IL-13, IL-6, TGF-beta, APRIL, BAFF, and VIP receptor expression, expanded IgA-positive plasma cell numbers in the ileum, and increased sIgA in luminal contents. Injecting an IL-13 antibody during supplementation reduced J-chain expression, which confirms IL-13 is a required mediator rather than a coincidental marker. Antibiotic depletion of the microbiota abolished the effect, which means glutamine works upstream of the antigenic pressure it amplifies. The read for the coach is not that glutamine is bad. It is that glutamine has a specific place in the sequence. Fix the antigenic load first, then rebuild the barrier. Ordering matters, and the mechanism is why by @domkuza

Coming up on 10 years in this coaching industry and even longer servicing fitnessStarted out with no clue what I was doing. Just a passion for training and wanting to help people. Ten years later I’ve built businesses, coached a lot of clients, made mistakes, watched people come and go, and learned a lot along the way by @domkuza

Caffeine is the same molecule whether it comes from coffee, tea, or a preworkout scoop. What changes is how the source and delivery form shape the response.Anhydrous caffeine peaks in the plasma near 30 minutes and holds for 4 to 5 hours. From coffee, the peak comes 45 to 120 minutes later because the plant matrix slows absorption. Green tea also contains L-theanine, which produces a calmer, more focused response.Every source brings extra pharmacology alongside the caffeine. Coffee brings chlorogenic acids and diterpenes. Tea has catechins with L-theanine. Guarana adds tannins, and cacao contributes theobromine.CYP1A2 metabolizes about 95% of the caffeine you ingest, and how fast varies by genotype. That is why the same afternoon coffee can leave one person wired until midnight and barely affect another. by @domkuza

Some of the movements from this week of training! Getting back to running as well again At the peak of running I was doing 10-15mile runs at a 8min pace. So working back to that, there’s a half marathon at the end of the year that @mattjansen8 is pushing me to do something hard, so easing my way into just time on feet right now by @domkuza

Comparison is a documented cognitive process. It happens below conscious awareness, which is why the shift feels like truth instead of a bias. It edits the reward signal your brain generates from your own effort. It shifts what looks normalThe evidence base is decently deep. Meta-analysis of 156 studies puts the effect on body dissatisfaction at d=0.83 in women and 0.88 in eating disorder patients. In 721 mothers, higher comparison on social media predicted more parental role overload, lower parental competence, and higher maternal depression. Longer Facebook use predicts stronger belief that others are happier and less agreement that life is fairThe three place most people beat themselves up over (body, parenting, career) share the same root. Most people treat them as three separate problems. They’re the same loop showing up in three places by @domkuza

These are some of the most important things that I've learned along the way while building this career of mine. These are things that I stress to people all the time on continuing to work on and develop these characteristic traits. If you could do a lot of these things, you'll be able to have a very long and successful career that feels very fulfilling by @domkuza

I think one of the main components of fixing body image issues comes down to understanding how much comparison actually plays a role in that. Is it comparison to a past physique that you were able to achieve, or is it comparison to somebody you follow online? I think being able to control that comparison and help with that balance is where a lot of things can be fixed when it comes to helping somebody manage their body image overall. Those are some of the things that I focused on a ton that helped me. Also just focusing more on performance rather than just strictly on image was something that carried over into a lot of good development in my physique by @domkuza
