Surprised ayako today with something ive had under wraps for over a month 😂 Went and picked up a new daily! Excited to tinker with something new while also upgrading the s15 to be focused on reliable track time. ✨
今日はアヤコにサプライズうちらの新しい街乗りの車。最近シルビアが楽しいけどやっぱりもうちょっとスペース欲しいなぁと悩んでて

Its a 2001 Nissan Stagea RS Four V a.k.a Double Unicorn with around 66,000kms(41,000 miles) in a pretty rare bayside blue(same as the R34). it also has the same drivetrain as the R34 and RB25DET NEO from the GTT. So, its RWD with a transfer case to make it AWD.(great for snow, camping, etc..)✌️Because its going to be a daily, having it in an auto will actually be super nice for traffic.

Ayako's been wanting a blue 4dr R34 skyline for a while now and this thing just so happened to pop up in Saitama for 1/4 of the price of some of the 4rd ER34's I was looking at and with more space to boot!(see what I did there?) 😁

Seriously excited to have picked up this '97 180sx type-s for an amazing deal! 🤩 Takeshi's already claimed it as his. So, we'll see how he feels about it in another 14-16 years! 😂

even though I have my S15, ive still always wanted another S13 after having owned 3 of them previously in Seattle. I have so many wonderful memories in those cars and as soon as I drove this one, they all came flooding back again.

specs wise, its bone stock, non-hicas, NA, 80,000kms, 2 owners and was somewhat of a garage queen hence the uncracked dash and MINT interior!

the plan is to keep this car 100% stock/OEM, cover it and hold on to it for 10-20 years. oh, and of coursw take it out on weekends every now and then when the weather is nice! 😁 taken in Yokohama by @domofactor

Been consistently 35+ degrees(95+ freedom units) here lately, which means the good ol' clutch fan was just sloshing around and the Stagea was overheating just driving around the block.🔥🫠

Installed a new clutch coupling, but I still was having coolant/AC issues at idle. So, I swapped the fan blade from @gktech_official back to OEM and coolant temp + AC at idle is much better. 😅

def curious to know why this is, but I assume there's a running CFM vs idle CFM tradeoff for these types of fans(GP Sports, etc..) taken in Yokohama by @domofactor

Fresh 2yr shaken for the 180! 🐘

I hardly drive it, but when I do it just puts a huge smile on my face and reminds me how good 180's are!🤩

Been too busy and it's too hot to bother doing much on the S15. 😅

Recently re-mounted the bumper & yanked the broken lip off then swapped out my dim lights and crusty 10 year old Up Garage HID's with some @hidya_japan_official LED's and yellow/white switchable fogs +💡 taken in Yokohama by @domofactor

Happy Level 6 Takeshi! 🎂

He was pretty excited that he got to decorate his ice cream cake himself 🙌

While he's still 120% into trains, he started playing Super Mario World on my switch earlier this year and it was Game Over from then on. After the new Super Mario Galaxy movie he's full on drinking from the Nintendo Kool-Aid 🤣

Hard to believe he's roughly 1 year away from elementary school 😵‍💫 by @domofactor

lvl.4! Kaya's gradually able to do alot more of things all by herself and is alot more independent (and opinionated😅)

Since she started at a different daycare her english has been gradually getting alot better as well! 🙌

She still likes Anpanman but is now getting into more princess stuff! ✨

Recently she really likes taking pictures of things, so we got her this kids camera 📸 taken in Yokohama by @domofactor

Takeshi's @sparco_kids car seat had seen better days after 4ish years 😅 The headrest and belts were pretty much maxxed out. So I figured ahead of him hitting lvl.6, its a good time to make the jump to a booster seat! 🚀
