18 years ago, I walked into a meeting with a London Drugs buyer hoping to get DOMO into what would become our second major retailer. 🤍

I still remember the buyer looking at me and asking, “How did you even get this meeting?” I told him, “I called.” 😂 He laughed and said he wasn’t quite sure how I’d managed it because those meetings weren’t easy to get.

But somehow, I did. They took a chance on me, and 18 years later, DOMO is still on London Drugs shelves. 🥹

I remember leaving that meeting, calling my mom and saying, “I’m going to be house-on-the-water rich.” She laughed.

Well… the house on the water hasn’t happened yet 😂 but the dream is very much alive.

18 years later, I’m even more proud of what DOMO has become: a small, local, woman-owned and founded Canadian tea company that started with a dream and a whole lot of determination.

Thank you to @londondrugs for taking a chance on me all those years ago - and to every single person who has picked up a bag of DOMO since. Here’s to 18 years… and maybe that house on the water someday. 🤍✨ by @domoteas
