Nephew, I can’t believe I’m even writing this. Man, you didn’t deserve this. Your mom and baby brothers don’t deserve this. Man, you were such a good young man, son, big brother, and lil nephew.

Like, you were always there for everybody. You would give the skin off your body just to help somebody. You were young, just living life.

I know you’ve never seen me cry, but nephew, you hurt me, man. 💔 I’ve seen people pass away in my arms and never shed a tear. I’ve lost so many people, and I’ve always managed to stay strong. But man, you tore me up.

I had to drive over there to see you because I didn’t believe it. I had to see you lying on that ground with my own eyes to believe it was real.

I told you no matter what, I’d always be there if you ever needed me. I didn’t care what time it was or where you were, I was coming. I wish I could’ve been on that bike with you. I swear I would’ve protected you.

But even when I couldn’t be there, God placed an angel beside you. Literally, nephew. The person who zipped you up was a good friend of mine for years. His name was Angel. He held you until he couldn’t anymore, for me. He even gave you dap for me, nephew. 💔

Damn, nephew. If I would’ve known five days ago, when you came over and we talked, and you said you were just gonna take a nap on the couch because you were tired, that it would be one of the last times I’d see you, I would’ve never let you leave my sight.

But I saw you, nephew. I know you went peacefully. You went out wild, Nick style. 🖤

I know if you could see me right now, you would say, “Stop being a puss. I’m a grown man now, Uncle.” 😂💔

Season 11 has come to an end. Daddy is proud of you, baby girl. You faced every challenge and embraced new adventures, overcoming each one. The tears you shed, driven by your desire to never let your team down, made it clear to me just how much you care to be GREAT. The relationships you've built with your teammates are priceless.
