The only reason why I would ever step back into that place again are now gone. Rest in peace, sweet J+P 💙

That little moody boy, but as an hsp, I would just speak softly to him & give space if he needed it. I won't forget when talking to a visitor he swam close to the side of the tank when he heard me & the visitor was like "He knows you." He definitely did.

That spicy shrimp loving princess always looked so peaceful while resting in the kelp. Even though she was blind I knew she could tell he was always by her side. The tubesnout making a nest & then trying to court her was funny. 🙈

These 2 #blackrockfish had a huge impact on so many students, visitors, researchers & staff members. People I meet here even ask about them when I share where I used to work. This big boy didn't know his own strength & would lean on me with his full body. He didn't like playing with his toys but loved playing with the dog toys I have at my place 🙈 Miss Tarot already 💕
