“Oscar Wilde said that if you know what you want to be, then you inevitably become it - that is your punishment, but if you never know, then you can be anything. There is a truth to that. We are not nouns, we are verbs. I am not a thing - an actor, a writer - I am a person who does things - I write, I act - and I never know what I am going to do next. I think you can be imprisoned if you think of yourself as a noun”. @stephenfryactually by @domsimages

Everything Cambridge: a documentary about the best small city in the world!

From its origins in 43 AD to the frontiers of 2050, Cambridge has been home to ideas that changed humanity forever. From Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin to Alan Turing and Stephen Hawking, the city has helped redefine our understanding of physics, evolution, computing, and the universe itself.

But Cambridge is far more than its extraordinary past. Behind its ancient colleges and iconic architecture lies a living ecosystem of scientific breakthroughs, technological revolutions, ambitious entrepreneurs, cultural movements and remarkable people. From Silicon Fen to the next generation of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and quantum computing, the city continues to push the boundaries of what humanity can achieve.

EVERYTHING CAMBRIDGE. An entertaining journey through the people, discoveries and ideas that shaped our world. One city. Two thousand years of history. An extraordinary legacy.

Follow us in producing the first documentary about the intellectual centre of the world.

A little photoshoot, a little mystery, and some BIG small business news coming soon! 👀🧶✨

These are some of my favourite shots from my recent photoshoot with @domsimages ! 📸

I’ve got something very exciting happening behind the scenes at Weaver Creature, and I needed some fresh artist portraits for the occasion.

Hint: it’s a BIG moment for my little business! 🥹💛

Next up, I’ll be working with filmmaker @the_oteka on a little artist portrait film, sharing more about who I am, my creative journey and the work I make. 🎥✨

And lastly, I’ll be getting some of my textile work photographed in situ with @photosbyconman . Lots of exciting creative things happening!

Curious about what I’m up to? 👀

I’ll be spilling a few beans on 30th October, and you’ve got two chances to catch me in Cambridge!

🎨 Fitzwilliam Museum – I’ll be at their Careers Day for 15–25-year-olds, chatting all things art, textiles and creative careers.

🧵 Skills Mixer: Threaded Together – Later that day, I’ll be speaking at the @angliavenues textiles event at 3:30pm, at Cambridge Chronicles Studio on Gwydir Street!

Come say hello, ask me questions, and maybe find out what’s happening behind the scenes! 🤭

For now, enjoy these lovely photos. Which one’s your favourite? 📸💕
