Allow me to re-introduce myself... And @ezimobi, a company we've been building from scratch since the end of last year in partnership with Africa's Fintech and asset financing giant @watu_africa With 35+ young people on our books as field agents to date, we are growing from strength to strength, offering affordable payment plans for the purchase of Samsung smartphones. The mission is to bridge the digital divide and make smartphone ownership accessible to a previously excluded demographic - Familiar territory, innit? - If you know, you know! It doesn't hurt that we also offer young people an opportunity to earn a living for being our sales conduits in their respective communities. So, here we are, 14 months after that famous exit from corporate life, the entrepreneurial bug has well and truly bitten. Many tough, painful, and expensive lessons were learned in 2024 in preparation for this moment. I couldn't have a scripted a better full circle moment even if I tried. www.ezimobi.africa Get it now, Pay later! Follow us @ezimobi, share, like, and repost on FB & TikTok. 2023 will always be the significant year where the universe said it's time to leave the nest & comfort zone. And since very minimal growth can be achieved in a comfort zone, I duly obliged. Almost 2 decades at the best Electronics OEM in the world. What a time! An inexplicably humbling experience and great honour. I am grateful beyond words to the 10 CEOs & MDs and 6 CFOs dispatched from South Korea that I worked with over my time in the South Africa subsidiary and Africa Office. Each with a role in my development, whether deliberately like JungHwan Kim & Sung Yoon or indirectly but impactful like KK Park. It always amazed my family and I how foreigners could come into our complex country and take such an active interest in this township kid's development and success. For that, Samsung and South Korea will ALWAYS be home. I have developed friendships and bonds that transcend borders and ethnicity. In my reflection, as great and cool as the company/brand is, and as privileged, the role that I've occupied over the last decade, what I will miss the most are the people. The daily interactions with my various part-leads and teams and the many individuals I've been fortunate enough to cross paths with, mentor, or guide and work with is what I will miss the most about Samsung. The beneficiaries of the many programs we executed and their successes will be what I consider my legacy. I have no doubt that this experience places me on a critical path upon which my future will be forged. Kahamsamida! ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Hiswona ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ taken in South Africa by @dona_soprano

One of the most important decisions I've made in life was flying you over to my then home in December 2009 at the beginning of our relationship - last slide ๐Ÿ˜. What was an audacious boyfriend flex turned out to be the single most important declaration of my intention to do more than just get to know you better at the time. Here we are, 14 years, and 2 beautiful kids later - living our dream life - having the most amazing time in the very continent that solidified our courtship. I've learned such from you about "doing the work," being intentional about being a great human being, and being a blessing to those around you. We are extremely fortunate to experience your light โœจ๏ธ May you never allow anyone or anything to dim it!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฟ Thank G-d for this day & thank you for choosing me over & over again.
