Ganapati Bappa Morta!!!

My first painting of any God and for me it was challenging one.

Acrylic on stretched canvas, 18”-22”

This painting has a story. I started this painting 2 years ago, done 15-20% and didn’t feel like continuing. In between did so many others and this was just lying down. Angshuman and my daughter was pushing me to complete this. But I was not having that connect with the painting and as an artist its so very important to me. But a week back, I decided to restart (thank God I did). This time I felt that connect. My daughter challenged me to complete on Ganpati festival. So though I was tired and weak just after the flu, I just pushed myself and definitely God helped to complete it. I just enjoyed doing it and was happy with the outcome.

So a big thanks to Angshuman Chatterjee and my darling daughter Dia. by @donaang

This time a serene beach view. Even while painting, I was so much feeling like going to this place and relax.
