Gio wins first NAGA and first expert division. Elliott gets double gold in purple belt in preparation for Pans. King, AJ and Gabriel win gold Blue belt. Billy, Santi win Gold. John wins gold. Just back from the NAGA grappling tournament in Baltimore, Maryland and we’re still buzzing from the excitement!Our team of youth competitors, most of whom were first or second-timers, gave it their all and brought home some amazing results. But more than that, they showed the values that matter most to us: hard work, determination, integrity and respect. We couldn’t be prouder. Huge congrats to Jose, Sam, Amirh, Diego, Gabby, and Nolan on their performances and to the whole team on an incredible day!—To be continued— We also had many adults compete today for the first time as well. Sorry this is a day late.I want to wish this incredible young man, @carleakbjj, nothing but the best as he steps into this exciting next chapter of his life.After more than 26 years on my own journey in this business, I’ve seen countless students come and go. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to hopefully leave a positive impact on every person who walks through our doors.But every now and then, someone comes along who leaves an even deeper impression—One that goes far beyond technique or routine.Carleak is one of those rare ones.As he begins his college journey, things will shift.
