To the Marching Storm, thank you for the endless opportunities to travel, perform and entertain for the past 4 years. From the first whistle to the last, it’s been a pleasure. I’ve been places I never thought I’d get to go. Thank you for entrusting me with countless leadership opportunities that allowed me to develop the confidence in myself thats going to make me an amazing music educator. ⛈️

To the Omicron Zeta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia,
Coming in as a solo was unexpected and challenged some of my biggest insecurities. I had to step to my own P.U.L.S.E. However, over time you guys helped me see what was always there; a passionate, competent, and inspired musician. I became part of a bond that became a family instantly. You’ve seen me through my highest highs and lowest of lows. At the end of the day, we share our love of music and that love carries our brotherhood. And it will continue to carry our brotherhood for years to come. Because, OASAASLLS🇩🇪🫡

Dear Prairie View,

What an amazingly beautiful and crazy 4 years it has been. You’ve taught me the power of believing in yourself, stepping into your legacy, and the importance of creating lasting memories. There was truly no better place for me to start my legacy as a first generation graduate.

My time on The Hill would be nothing without my devoted time to my dear Hobart Taylor. Hobart Taylor,

You were more than one of the oldest buildings on campus, you were my heart and soul. The joy, laughs, tears, and steps…my God, those steps, you’ve seen from me were more than worth it. I’ve seen the sun rise and set from you more than my own bed, but it was in those daunting days that turned into nights that the best music was made. I’m proud to be another great Music Major to fill the legacy of Hobart Taylor. You’ve built my resilience, passion, and strengthened my love for music tenfold. So much so that Mr.B will be coming to a classroom near you!

I thank God for allowing me to see the miracle all the way through! I’ll see you Tommorow @8am🥹✨
