This is a Rant: So, la Gente hoy profundiza en lo que fue su año and shit, mine was not the best, but hell did I learn a lot. Si hago un recap por mes como he visto gente haciendo no llegaría ni al Round Robin como no llegaron mis Tigres del Licey, o sea, on average, no es que se logró mucho, pero alguito se logró. Además de lo del accidente y el golpe en la cabeza que me causó amnesia de varios meses, lo que si recuerdo es lo que aprendí y me llevo pa' mejorar cada día más. Que me valga verga menos las cosas, hacer el ridículo, el que te quiere y a quien le importas no te juzga ni sale corriendo cuando eres tu persona real. Dar el full, en todo, quien no lo valora y aprueba, pues problemas de ellos. Be true to myself, y si me equivoco y meto la pata o le fallo a alguien, own it, disculparme, arreglar lo que se pueda, y seguir adelante. So, love yourself, love your family, have a small circle, and enjoy every minute of it, sin importarte lo que digan o piensen los demás. Es Thanksgiving, o Accion de Gracias, y aunque no es una efemeride autoctona de RD, nunca esta de mas dar gracias por Todo.

Niki Lauda, quien fue un gran piloto de Formula Uno, en una premiacion al momento de recibir su premio decía, que dedicaba su premio a los perdedores, porque ganar es una cosa, pero de las derrotas se aprende mas para El futuro. Y es que cada caida, cada error, cada derrota, te enseña a levantarte con mas caracter. Los triunfos generan aplausos y las derrotas dan lecciones de vida. Por eso agradezco, ahora que va terminando el año, no solo por las victorias, sino tambien por las derrotas y perdidas que me toco saborear, aprender, levantar cabeza y seguir adelante.

Siempre agradece por Todo, y recuerda, haz el ridiculo, Unlearn the Hate, Ama, Be kind 💙 , y Toma agüita.

I turned 44 this week.
And I’ve been sitting with this photo of me as a kid… that innocent smile, that spark in the eyes. He didn’t know much about the world yet, but he carried something I’ve tried hard to protect over the years: a kind heart.

Life has tested that heart more times than I can count. I’ve made mistakes, taken wrong turns, hurt and been hurt. I’ve had to unlearn, to rebuild, to forgive, not just others, but myself too. I'm not perfect, never have been. But I am human. And in that humanness, I’ve always tried to lead with sincerity, with love, and with the genuine intention to give the best of me to the people around me.

I still have work to do. Still evolving. Still trying to align the man I am with the child I was, and the man I want to become.

But one thing hasn’t changed: I love with all I have. I show up with my whole self. I don’t hold back, and I don't love halfway. Even when it’s messy. Even when it costs me. Because to me, love is meant to be unconditional. Honest. Deep. And never regretted.

Here’s to the next chapter. To staying soft in a hard world. To honoring that little boy in the picture, and becoming the kind of man he’d be proud of. by @dongat0
