DESIGN ISN’T DEAD. BUT WE’RE DEFINITELY CHEAPENING IT.

I keep seeing more businesses, artists and brands replacing actual design with AI generated posters, flyers and social media graphics.

And yeah…a lot of it is wack.

Not because AI exists. Not because designers should be afraid of technology. And definitely not because I’m against AI.

I use AI.

It’s an incredible tool for research, brainstorming, concept development and experimentation.

The problem starts when the tool becomes the designer.

Our feeds are becoming saturated with the same AI look. Overly polished faces. Fake typography. Impossible lighting. Random details. Visuals that look impressive for three seconds but say absolutely nothing.

Generate. Post. Repeat.

When everybody can type a prompt and call the result “branding,” eventually everything starts looking like everything else.

And that’s how we slowly turn design into disposable content.

Designers think about typography, composition, culture, audience, hierarchy, color, history, emotion and strategy.

Most importantly, we think about IDENTITY.

Your brand should look like YOU, not like the same AI model that just created somebody’s nightclub flyer, restaurant special, album cover and clothing campaign.

And especially for small businesses, that matters.

Use AI to help you create.
Don’t let AI decide who you are.

Give a talented designer AI and watch what they can do with it. I’m all for that.

But there still needs to be a human behind the wheel.

Taste matters.
Ideas matter.
Culture matters.
Craft matters.
Designers matter.

AI belongs in the toolbox.

It should NOT be your primary source of brand identity.

Because if we keep accepting disposable visuals because they’re fast, cheap and “good enough,” we shouldn’t be surprised when our brands start feeling disposable too.

So here’s the real conversation:

Are we using AI to push creativity forward…or are we using it to avoid being creative? 👀

LOS ANGELES… I THINK WE LEFT A MARK. ❤️‍🔥

I don’t even know where to start.

Walking onto the stage at the Mayan Theater for my third time with Trap Rave felt different. The room was packed, the energy was unreal, and from the moment the music dropped, y’all made it feel like home.

To @clover.punk and the entire @traprav3 family… thank you for continuing to believe in me and trusting me with your stage. Every invitation has opened another door, and I’ll never take that for granted.

Sharing the stage with @osamason at such an iconic venue was an honor, but the real highlight of the night happened after the lights came on.

Meeting so many of you.

Hearing your stories.

Taking pictures.

Laughing.

Talking about the music.

Seeing familiar faces and meeting brand new ones who said, “I’m a fan now.”

Those moments mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

Music has a way of turning complete strangers into family, and Thursday night felt exactly like that. Every trip to Los Angeles reminds me that this movement is growing one real connection at a time.

To everyone who screamed the lyrics, jumped in the mosh pits, waited after the show, or simply took a chance on an artist you hadn’t heard before…

Thank you.

I’ll remember this one for a long time.

Until next time, LA… stay dangerous.

Back half of Q3. Still building.

The past few months have been a wave. Album rollouts, show posters, brand identities, creative direction, EPKs and everything in between.

From LA to Miami to Atlanta, I’ve been creating with artists, entrepreneurs and brands who trust the process and understand that good design should feel like something.

That’s really where my head is right now.

Less about doing more just to do more.
More intention. More identity. More storytelling.
More work that actually connects.

Going into the back half of Q3, I’m opening the door to a few new projects and collaborations.

Music and entertainment will always be home, but I’m also looking to work with more small businesses, restaurants, hospitality brands, entrepreneurs and people building something from the ground up.

The neighborhood burger spot.
The new restaurant opening its doors.
The artist getting ready for the next rollout.
The entrepreneur who needs their personal brand to finally look like the level they’re operating on.

That’s the energy.

Currently open for:

• Album Artwork & Rollouts
• Creative Direction
• Posters, Flyers & Key Art
• Brand Identity & Logo Design
• Restaurant & Hospitality Branding
• Menus, Packaging & Social Campaigns
• Personal Branding
• EPKs, Decks & Press Materials
• Visual Strategy & Consultation

Big ideas don’t always come from big brands.

Sometimes they start with a record.
A restaurant.
A conversation.
A sketch.
An idea somebody finally decided to take seriously.

Back half of Q3. Let’s build. 🎯

LA… Y’ALL SHOWED TF OUT. 🩸

4 LA shows with @traprav3 later and somehow this shit keep getting crazier.

Opening for LUCKI was one for the books, but seeing y’all in that crowd going up with me was different. Everybody who pulled up early, got in the pit, screamed the words, took videos, posted clips and showed love… I SEE YOU. 🧛🏾‍♂️

Big love to @TrapRave for continuing to bring me back and letting me tear these stages up. Much love to LUCKI, Code Red and everybody behind the scenes who made the night happen.

LA really starting to feel like the second crib.

From that first show to #4… y’all been showing love and we nowhere near finished.

SEE Y’ALL AT SHOW #5. 🩸⚰️

DREAM BIG.

A little over two years ago, I was sitting on a college campus with a notebook in front of me.

Most people thought I was taking notes.

What they didn’t know was I was filling the margins with lyrics, hooks, song titles, and dreams.

Looking back… those notebooks were the first version of everything I’m building today.

I spent hours watching my favorite artists perform on stages that felt impossible to reach. I studied their journeys and wondered if someone like me would ever get that opportunity.

Now I’m living moments I used to daydream about.

That’s why I’ll never let anyone tell me dreaming big is just a cliché.

Dreaming is the first promise you make to yourself. Once your mind believes something is possible, your actions start chasing it.

God has opened doors I never imagined. Every opportunity reminds me that His timing is always greater than mine.

To my producers, my family, my girl, and my small circle… thank you for believing in me before there was proof.

If you’re reading this and you’re writing songs, designing, creating, filming, building a business, or chasing a dream that nobody else understands…

Don’t stop.

The stage always looked impossible…

Until I stepped on one.

Maybe today’s journal entry is tomorrow’s reality.

Dream bigger.

Pray harder.

Work longer.

The rest will follow.

I should probably start paying rent out here… 😂

LA, somehow this keeps happening.

I’m headed back to Los Angeles, and this time we’re taking over the Mayan Theater. It’s a real honor to be sharing the stage with OsamaSon at one of the most iconic venues in the city.

This is my 3rd time linking with @clover.punk and the incredible people at @traprav3, and every trip out here feels bigger than the last. Y’all keep showing me so much love that I’m starting to think LA adopted me.

The show is SOLD OUT. 🖤 Thank y’all for making this one special. If you couldn’t get a ticket, don’t disappear on me. I’ll be hanging around after the show, so come say what’s up. I’m always down to chop it up, take some pictures, and meet everybody showing love.

To everybody pulling up from LA and the surrounding cities… bring your people, bring your energy, and maybe bring a portable charger because your phone is about to work overtime. I’m ready for mosh pits, loud hooks, unforgettable moments, and at least one person screaming every lyric like they wrote it.

If this is your first Harlem show, welcome to the family. If you’ve seen me before… you already know we’re about to make the Mayan shake.

See y’all Thursday.

A few frames from my 2026 creative reel.

This year has been about building worlds, not just graphics.

From album covers and rollout posters to visual identities and creative direction, every piece started with the same question: How do we make people feel something before they ever press play?

I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with artists, brands, and visionaries who understand that great design isn’t decoration. It’s storytelling. It’s world building. It’s the bridge between an idea and an audience.

Lately I’ve been focused on creating work that feels cinematic, culturally aware, and intentional. Less chasing trends. More creating visuals that age well. More substance. More identity. More meaning.

Swipe through a few recent projects that kept me inspired, challenged, and creatively restless.

Currently open for select commissions and collaborative projects.

Open for:
• Album Covers
• Creative Direction
• Rollout Campaigns
• Posters and Key Art
• Brand Identity Design
• EPKs and Press Materials
• Visual Strategy and Consultation

Let’s build something that lasts.

The best creative work doesn’t follow culture. It documents it. 👁️‍🗨️

Happy 28th Birthday to my daughter, @_dominic ❤️🎉

Twenty-eight years ago, God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts of my life — you. From the moment I first held you as a tiny baby, I knew my world had changed forever. And watching you grow from that little girl into the educated, intelligent, driven, and absolutely beautiful young woman you are today still has me in awe. It’s surreal sometimes. I blinked… and now you’re out here building your own life, making your own impact, standing in your own power.

I’ve watched you learn, stumble, rise, achieve, and evolve. I’ve seen your heart, your strength, your resilience, and your mind at work. The way you think, the way you carry yourself, the way you love — it all makes me proud beyond words. You didn’t just grow up… you grew into yourself.

One of my favorite things about us is that sometimes we’re more like brother and sister with how we talk, laugh, debate, and hang out. I genuinely enjoy our conversations and the way we can just vibe. That friendship means everything to me. But no matter how grown you get, how independent you become, or how many milestones you reach… I will always be “Dad,” and you will always be my baby girl. That part never changes.

Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. Thank you for trusting me, challenging me, and loving me the way you do. Being your father is one of my greatest honors in this life.

Keep chasing your dreams. Keep walking in your purpose. Keep being exactly who you are. The world is better because you’re in it.

Love you forever and always. 💖

Designing Harlem’s Electronic Press Kit (EPK) for the Florida Boy era was about more than layout — it was about building a visual story around the music.

Using images developed in Photoshop, typography crafted in Illustrator, and the final layout built in InDesign, the goal was to create a clean editorial-style narrative that introduces Harlem, the Florida Boy concept, and his upcoming single “Face in The Crowd.”

What started as a press kit quickly became a full visual identity exercise — blending music, fashion, and storytelling into one cohesive campaign.

Swipe through a few pages from the EPK.

Visual artists: what’s your favorite part of building creative identity around music?
