They offer generous portions and flavorful soup bases. I think they are a solid spot. by @donkari_yyc

One year already. 🀍 DONKARI is officially turning one, and sometimes I still can’t believe it’s already been a year. This year… a lot happened. Things broke… a lot.πŸ₯²We fixed them one by one, and then something else broke… so we fixed that too. We had people come and go, but watching the ones who stayed grow into the team we have today has honestly been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. They probably don’t know it, but they make me so proud, and I’m very thankful to have them. This year hasn’t been easy. I think everyone can feel it. The economy has been tough, prices have gone up… a lot, and like many small businesses, we’ve been trying our best every day just to keep going. But that’s also exactly why DONKARI exists. We want to be the place you think of when you’re too tired to cook, or when you just want a nice meal with family or friends without worrying too much about the bill. Because honestly, life is already hard enough. At least EAT SOMETHING GOOD. For our first anniversary, we made something small to remember this first year, and we also prepared something fun to celebrate with all of you. Stay tunedπŸ‘€β˜ΊοΈ by @donkari_yyc
Our summer special is here πŸ‹β„οΈ Meet our new Yuzu Cold Udon β€” chilled udon with bright yuzu flavour, juicy grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and a soft egg. Cold udon might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of comfort food… but on a warm Calgary day, it just makes sense. Available now at DONKARI for a limited time this summer 🍜 Save this for your next hot-day craving. #calgaryfood #yycfood #coldudon #yuzuudon #japanesefood calgaryeats yyceats donburi by @donkari_yyc
