RESTORED TO SHINE

Renovation and restoration are key in Sanctification! AND happen multiple times in the Christian life! TAKE TIME to let the Lord RESTORE you so that you can SHINE bright for his glory when it is indeed time to do so! Remember this SEASON has a BEGINNING and an END, it prepares you for the next season, and it seasons you to be more interesting and potent for the Glory of God and the good of Us!

FREEDOM IS BEAUTIFUL

I had the best time at LO SISTER CONFERENCE in Monroe Louisiana this weekend and I saw this amazing picture of freedom and beauty IN Christ LADY LIBERTY 🗽💫on my walk this morning in Washington DC!

I’d love to hear what God did in you this weekend Ladies! Let’s stand in the new creatuons we are in HIM!

My NARNIANS are back to school today.

Goodbye elementary school…
Goodbye Passion Kids.
Hello High school and Junior High STUDENTS!

When the Pevensies reigned in Narnia there came a day when they were hunting the elusive and legendary white stag that was known to grant wishes. It represents spiritual pursuit and transformation. The Narnian Kings and Queens found themselves back at the beginning in Lantern Waste when tracking the magical beast, and stumbled upon the forgotten wardrobe that brought them to and ultimately returned them back to their life as children. As students, but having gained so much as living as adventuresome mature and brave royalty in Narnia.

Ben hunted and brought home that adventure, and we will return often to Narnia together as a family.

@donna_stuart is a wife, mom, and a creator in one million different ways! She and her husband Ben live in DC where they planted Passion City DC in 2018 with their three children.

Donna is a woman of many talents and interests. She unpacks the value in being a mom who still creates and passing on our gifts to the next generation. She discusses how important it is to continue doing the things you’re good at EVEN in motherhood and how. She is practical, unapologetic and inspiring all in the same sentence. I left more convinced that what is in me is GOOD.

‘SUNNY D’

This one has quite the story…. When one of my oldest friends @amesymamesy messaged me about making a hat for a complete stranger @donna_stuart , I did question her sanity😜 but when she explained how she just had a heart pull for a ‘Oshan Ford Hat’ to be gifted & the only explanation given was “just because I love you” - who am I to say no to such generosity🥰

If only there were more people like Ames, every sale I make as a hatter, means a lot & maybe instinctively she knew that, but then to gift it to someone she doesn’t know, what a kind & heart wide open thing to do.

And what a pleasure it has been to “meet” @donna_stuart & create a hat full of symbolism & intention.

So, if you’ve read this far, be like Ames - be kind to someone today, sometimes your reach goes even farther than you know ♥️🤠✌️ by @donna_stuart
