Taking photos and sharing does help BUT this dog has been seen by multiple ppl for 3 WEEKS???!!!! Someone please get the dog to safety. Where there is a will there is a way. Tattnall County’s ACO must not be willing to assist..The shelter has a parvo outbreak. Blake’s Buddies has offered to take the dog. I just hope it is not to late. No more sightings have been reported.. The dog was last seen staying nearby a creek off of Baxter Durrence Road in Tattnall County near Reidsville, Ga. by @donnahfox

Twiggy transport day was a success! ❤️🐾

This sweet girl is officially part of our Best Chance Program!

It truly takes a village to save a life, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who made Twiggy’s rescue possible. Thank you to Laurie, @donnahfox , @mckinney.kate , @thewild.beard , @lucas08barbosa , the incredible team at @mirrorimagek9 , and our partner veterinary team at Vidalia Veterinary Care for coming together to give this girl a second chance.

When Twiggy was found as a stray, she was so weak she could barely stand or even stay awake. She received the medical care she desperately needed, and we learned she is heartworm positive. Laurie lovingly fostered her through those first critical weeks, keeping her safe until she was healthy enough to make the trip to Atlanta.

A huge thank you to @thewild.beard for opening her home and fostering Twiggy as she begins this next chapter.

Now the real journey begins. Twiggy will complete our Best Chance Program, receive training with Mirror Image K9, continue her heartworm treatment, and gain all the skills and confidence she needs to find the loving forever family she deserves.

And let us tell you about Twiggy… she is an absolute sweetheart. Calm, quiet, gentle, dog friendly, cat friendly, and happiest just being by your side. She’s a low-energy girl who is simply grateful to be safe and loved.
