Happy 11th birthday to the one who made me a Nana! One of the best days of my life! Where has the time gone & how can I slow it down! Just got done having a conversation with a friend that I had unfriended about a week ago who noticed I was no longer following her so she reached out to me. Told her the reason why and she said she didn’t even realize she was only posting mostly one of her three daughters until she started looking at her page as we were talking. I told her it’s her business and her page but I choose not to follow her anymore. I feel I can talk on this subject having four sons and two grandsons. I have always done my best to treat them all the same. Also, I was not the favorite one growing up. My sister was. Everything was always about her because I was the easy child that no one had to worry about. So I know what it felt like to always be in the shadows while one always got all the attention showered on them. You may be ignorant and not think that your other children don’t notice, but believe me they do, they feel it and it stays with them. If this post offends you too damn bad. All children deserve to be treated equally. I see it quite often on here & it’s wrong! Do better as parents and grandparents! Twenty five years ago the most horrific event in the United States took place. It brought the world together for a short time. Today our hearts & prayers are with the families and loved ones who have carried the absence of their family members all these years. We also remember the first responders & heroes that gave their lives that day. Twenty five years later we promise to never forget.
