I walked in thinking
I had to perform.
I walked out knowing
I had to be.

Every crack,
every trembling breath,
every silence
was the work.
The real work.

Being an actor
isn’t pretending,
it’s surrender.
It’s bleeding without apology.
It’s listening until your bones ache.
It’s standing naked
inside a moment
and calling it art.

I didn’t survive that class.
I was remade by it.

Raven and BlackJack proof of concept.

This experience was phenomenal and was a taste of what a true actor has to go through before production. I was taught to ride a horse in high speed and some magic as well.

This reminds me to keep going and remain unshaken.
