The first Smoky Mountain Jet Boat completely built by the Needmore boys has officially passed coast guard inspection. Couldn’t be more stoked!

Such a big thank you to @macadellic_mac for being the head foreman of this project. Not too mention teaching me so much about welding, building, kayaking, and life along the way. @cascade2crazy for being so dang crazy and answering calls about the electronics at any given hour. @smokymountainjetboatsnick_ for the opportunity to learn. And @stefanhaymond for being such a good sport.

Every time I get into this gorge I can physically feel how special and magical it is. Stoked to finally get some water here in the southeast. Thankful for a safe journey with the homies. A big thank you to Kirk Eddlemon for the books that sparked my love for creeking, and all the wise words in them needed to complete these missions safely.
