Boom+Run 2026 30K Debut

Finish Time: 3:59:00
Net Time: 3:54:54

Went into the race feeling strong despite multiple injuries throughout the training weeks.

I told the boys that I wanted a sub 3 finish but by KM 20, my soles started to swell and I could not go on at my race pace. Despite having so much more in the tank left, my legs would just not cooperate.

Choosing the right shoes here was also a very important lesson I've learned. Since I over pronate, the Adidas Evo SL was not the right shoes for me for these type of runs.

However, despite the setback, adrenaline picked up by KM 27 and I managed to finish the race strong.

Still, I'm proud of my new HM personal best. Managed to shave a lot of time there since my last one.

Boom+ Run, I will be back next year, stronger, better. Until next time, peace out.

GOGOGO.

Special thanks to @zaim_rosli @ashman_az @thats___gogogo jadi peneman for the 1st 15KM. I'll try again next year brothers. by @donrealla

THE MAGNIFICENT BALING 100

50K Ultra Marathon Debut 🙏🏽

Flag Off: 2AM
Watch time: 10:23:06
Gun time: 10:23:17
Distance: 50KM
EG: 1,033m

I don't even know where to start. When I first signed up, my body was far from ready. I was a tad bit overweight, my running fitness was basically 0 and mentally, I was just not ready.

I thought about quitting and selling my bib, because I was scared, I was too anxious but then there's a small timid voice in my head telling me that I CAN do it. As the event date comes closer, that voice became louder and LOUDER and I finally started my training in April.

When I first started training, I was running at a 5K pace 8-9 with a zone 2-3 heart rate. But I kept telling myself that this is all about to change and after every training session, after every week I turned that voice into a MONSTER telling myself one very important thing:

"IF I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO ANYTHING IN LIFE."

And sure enough, my confident grew stronger week after week, my fitness became so much better. That small voice is now a loud scream and I arrived on race day feeling stronger than ever, ready to compete.

Me and the boys @zaim_rosli and @aamrerosli targeted a 11-12 hours finish time but by Allah's grace, we finished way below our target time at 10 hours +-. BIG THANKS to @zaim_rosli for pushing us along the way. "ONE CP AT A TIME". Big congratulations to all of us and @amirmohdyasin for a strong finish 👏🏽

I want to also thank and congratulate our ULTRAMEN @ashman_az, @an417_ for the support, coaching and motivation throughout this journey. Our 100K Fighters!!

Very very proud of all our GOGOGO brothers.

And last but not least, I want to thank my wife @azeezaazhar for the love and support you've shown throughout my journey. Without it, I am nothing. I owe you a cute dress now.

Don signing out, until next time,

GOGOGO!!!!
