One year ago I proposed to the love of my life. I was so nervous, shu I was sweating and didn’t want to mess up my words and up until this point in my life, one of the biggest and most easiest decisions I’ve made was choosing you. Sometimes words can’t even describe how much I love you and what you mean to me and I’m grateful for you, how you show up for us in our marriage and the woman that you are. I couldn’t ever have chosen a better partner. All of the prepping and planning, the little white lies for this moment with the help of our families was more than worth it and I’d do it over a million times just to see the look on your face when you said yes.

We honestly weren’t planning on doing a gender reveal at all, but my mom encouraged us to make a little moment out of it and we ended up indulging the idea. We knew if we were ever going to do one, we’d want it to be something small and intimate and that ended up feeling so true to us. We’re really glad we decided to do it because it turned into such a special memory with the people closest to us. 🤭💙

As you can see Sheldon and I were already team boy with our blue outfits. Thank goodness our predictions were right 😂🤭

Thank you Jesus for the privilege of getting to be parents, it’s the most wonderful honour and we stand firm in Proverbs 22:6, which reads: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
It will bring us no greater joy than to raise this baby in the ways of the Lord ❤️
