One of my favourite things about working with polymer clay is how creative you can be with the material. I love experimenting and finding new techniques to try.⁠

Wishing everyone a very happy start to 2025! ✨️⁠

I have been offline the last week or so as I attempt to recover from a nasty chest cold, but I wanted to just take a moment to thank all of my customers over this past year who have ordered online, come to visit me at one of my markets, or who have purchased something special through one of the local shops.⁠
⁠
I am so grateful to all of you. 2025 marks year number 4 of DON'T WORRY DESIGNS. I started this little business in our apartment in downtown Toronto at the height of COVID. It was a little piece of sanity for me as we worked through a really tough year, and since then, it has kept me challenged and grounded. I have had fun and met so many incredible customers and other vendors in the process. To be completely transparent though - this year was tough. Online sales and markets sales were down 50% for me. I was thinking of closing my doors permanently as the year came to a close, but instead I've decided to make some changes. After all, I started this because I wanted to make colorful, fun bright and bold jewelry and then learned along the way that the best part of all of it is getting to meet and connect with my incredible customers.⁠

So this year:⁠
⁠
◾️I'm going to be focusing on creating more unique/one-off designs (like the photo here!). Once something is gone, it will probably be gone forever. I want to spend more time designing and creating new than doing product photography and production. Which leads me to my next point.⁠
⁠
◾️ I am debating on permanently closing down my online shop in early 2025. It's a huge expense for a small business and a lot of upkeep. Instead, I am going to be focusing on doing local in-person markets and continuing to build relationship with the shops that have been selling my designs. If I decide to close down my online shop, I will still be active through social media and will figure out a system where customers can order directly through me. More to come on that as I work through it!⁠

At nearly every market I have been to this year, I have brought a few packs of mini studs and I have not been able to keep them in stock! Normally I go towards big & bold for my designs but I hear you loud and clear - MORE minis!⁠

Alex and I had a blast at Groovy Fest this weekend in Kincardine, Ontario 🌼

We are so grateful to our new customers and had the best time working alongside the incredible other vendors over Sunday and Monday.

A huge shoutout to @thehandmadeartisanmarket for all of their hard work and planning! I hope we can make it an annual thing - we’d love to be back next year 🩷 taken in Kincardine, Ontario by @dont.worry.designs

Very excited to be part of Groovy Fest 2024 in Kincardine this upcoming weekend! Check out more info @thehandmadeartisanmarket. We will be on-site at the Kincardine Pavillion on Sunday August 4 from 12-8pm and Monday August 5 from 9am-2pm. Cannot wait to see you all there! ⁠

In late August you can find us back in downtown Stratford for another wonderful @festivalsquaremarket. We always have a great time and love checking in with existing customers and making new ones. The event is 10am-3pm on Saturday Aug 24. ⁠
