No Free Beats

After spending all that money to build your studio, keep the lights on, purchase and upgrade the equipment, maintaining data storage and memberships to use the software, you should never be open to entertaining any artist asking you for free beats! The same way they ask for an advance to sign a deal should be the same way you ask for advance to produce the music they need! Doesn’t matter if they indie or major, it cost to create music and creators should be paid for their creativity and their creative content needed to make income! I don’t agree with the free beats movement cause i know it’s a hustle to begin with and at the end of the day, nothing is free, nothing at all other than the ideas you have inside your head the minute you give them away to someone who doesn’t appreciate your worth! Be smart producers, get what you deserve and worked hard for! #nofreebeats #makingbeats #reasongang #flstudiogang #protools by @dontrunk

MIDI Nerd 🖖🏽🎹

Ya see young Jedi I come from the midi in and out era! I love the sound coming out the audio cables and the patchbays! I love have 1 keyboard control them all at once! We plug up the synths and the drum machines and don’t touch nothing on the computer other than the record button! Never had to worry about a sound missing or a plugin subscription being cancelled, we just print midi and record the audio straight out the gear! Thank you for supporting and watching hope you learned something today and decided to grab a real keyboard!

Make Art Dummy

It’s So much crying online and talking over the new tools we all have access to now yet nobody talking is using the tools they have to do anything, i wish i had all these tools at 12 years old and could do half the things i know how to do now, some things is so easy that would’ve took hours to do in 1998 but look at how accessible everything is now so stop complaining and make some art cause its a 12 year old on his phone making more music you done in your entire life! Get some art done and show the world why you love music so much! And yes this beat is available at Dontrunk.com #homestudio #musicproducer #suno #aimusic #mpcone by @dontrunk

Hard or Soft 🥁

being in a studio right now, so bare with me but which do you prefer software or hardware drums? Can you tell the difference? Do you think an artist can hear the difference? Do we overthink making drums as a producer? Do people really care if it’s made on equipment or not? I think sometimes as producers we hear music way differently than most people and once we catch a vibe we need certain gear to create the sound we are looking for, but we get so comfortable using certain equipment that we never try anything else or maybe the gear we have is all we need. This debate will never stop with us studio nerds. #mpcone #mpc2000xl

GM Father 🙏

i’m not a gospel artist or Christian Rapper, I just a producer that likes making music that touches my soul and idk what genre it is. It helps another person get through the day. As a Producer, my goal is in make music for everyone that’s listening to my voice and instrumentation on earth that enjoys listening to real music made from a human being so sometimes this human being is going to make music on the spot, share it freely and hopefully that inspires other artists to Collab and work with him with the same creative ideas. Can i get an amen this morning! Let’s work! #producer #gospel #hiphop #christianhiphop #mpcone by @dontrunk
