This was my first hike, with many more to come. Hiking is an experience I didn’t know I needed. Between the obstacles, the changing climate, the trees, the birds, the rocks, the brothers, the sister, the Elders, the conversations, the community, the vulnerability, and the breathtaking views, I found no room for shortcomings or distractions. Every step reminded me to stay present. For the first time in a long time, I experienced what it truly feels like to be grounded. This journey wasn’t just through nature, it was within myself. Thanks, @ongod365 , for putting this together. I truly appreciate the experience and everyone who made it memorable. Looking forward to the next one. by @donutsandhenny
