A vision brought to life. 🤍

On September 26, Motherwell made its debut with a mission close to our hearts: creating a space for moms to build their village, find connection, and continue the conversation around maternal mental health.

It was meaningful to bring this vision to life alongside brands that helped make our first gathering possible: @canva, @tubbytodd, @itsblume, @lola, @eezcompany, @thatsit, @liquidiv, @fontanacandlecompany, @swoon, @yourbirthfriend_leondra, @momma.chill, @sugamama_cookies 🙏🏽

A special thank you to @donwesfilms for capturing the day through his lens and preserving the moments, connections, and energy that made this gathering so special. 👏🏽👏🏽

This is the first chapter of Motherwell. Here’s to continuing to build our village, make room for honest conversations, and remind moms that they are not alone. ✨

My brother and I have been writing songs together since we were kids. He would do the music and I would write to them and sing them. We did two albums back when CDs were the thing and before this streaming world. At the end of 2021 I decided I wanted to do another album. Just for the love of singing and songwriting and putting together a body of work that expresses my thoughts and creativity. My brother was like let’s do it!! It’s been a long time since we did a full project together. If you knew me before 2007 you already know what it is. If you met me after that you might be like wait you sing? Lol. Well, I left music for a long time but it never left me.
