Bailey’s first review had to be about one of his favorite things... his food!

After trying three different kibble foods and doing lots of research, we switched to @honestkitchen and we’re so happy we did!

Bailey loves his dehydrated Beef & Salmon puppy recipe, and I love feeling good about what goes into his bowl.
We’ve enjoyed exploring their other products, too, so we wanted to share our experience with you!🐾

Watch for our little review, starring the cutest taste tester and narrated by his very proud mama.

Officially Bailey Approved! ✔️
Have you tried The Honest Kitchen?

One little puppy… a whole lot of opinions. 🤭🐾

To Mom, I’m her forever baby. 🧸
To Dad, I’m the little champ. 🥊
To my big sister, I’m her superhero, fluffy protector and forever sidekick. 🦸‍♂️🩵
To Oma & Pop Pop, I’m their precious grand baby, packed and ready to be spoiled. 🧳🤎
To the mailman, I’m head of security… all 25 fluffy pounds of me. 😎
To myself? Royalty, obviously. 👑

But really, I’m just Bailey. A little fluff, a little mischief, and a whole lot of love. 🥹🐶

Swipe to see all my personalities! Which Bailey is your favorite? 🤍

I’m 4 months old! 🐾🤎

I weigh around 25 lbs, and Mom says I’m the smartest puppy ever! I learn so fast, follow my daily routine, and spend my days being happy, healthy, and very loved. 🥰

Of course, I still have my crazy puppy moments when all I want to do is run, play, and zoom around! But a few minutes later, I’m back to being the chillest, cuddliest, most well-behaved little guy. 🧸💤

My family is completely obsessed with me… and the feeling is mutual. 🫶

Love,
Bailey 🐶

Fall in Florida means cozy touches, sunshine, and a fluffy puppy with his favorite teddy bear. 🍂🧸🤎

For us, taking good care of Bailey this season means keeping him comfortable, making time for play and cuddles, and helping him feel safe as he tries new things including his very first haircut! 🥹✂️

We’d love to introduce him to the MODU hair dryer and grooming kit, taking it slowly with treats, encouragement, and lots of patience. Keeping his teddy bear coat looking adorable is a bonus, the sweetest part is helping him learn that being cared for can feel good, too. 🐾

Here’s to a season of little milestones and a whole lot of love!

🐾 When should a doodle puppy visit the groomer for the first time?

Bailey is 16 weeks old, so we’re looking into his first appointment! There’s no single perfect age: it depends on your puppy’s vaccines, your vet’s advice, and the groomer’s requirements. But grooming practice can start at home much earlier with a few gentle brush strokes, paw handling, and treats (American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior; AKC).

Do puppies need every shot first? Grooming salons have different rules. Since the distemper/parvo puppy series typically continues through 16 weeks, we’re checking Bailey’s vaccine record with our vet before booking (American Animal Hospital Association).

Our vet also recommended the Bordetella vaccine because grooming salons can mean close contact with other dogs. It helps protect against one cause of contagious respiratory illness, but it doesn’t prevent every kind of “kennel cough” (AAHA).

For his first visit, we’re hoping for a gentle introduction bath, brushing, nails, and a little trimming only if he’s comfortable. The goal is a good experience, not a perfect haircut! And until then, we’ll keep brushing at home so tangles don’t get ahead of us (AKC; VCA Animal Hospitals). 🧡
