Now open! ✨️😍 'The Burrow’ Luxury Pod & Hot Tub is our newest addition 🚀

The Burrow offers its guests the picture-perfect postcard view of Doolin 🩷📸

Designed from 2 insulated containers, it is located right beside the Inn, on its own 1/4 acre private garden area nested into the side of the hill, it is slightly elevated and back from the street. You are in the centre of the village on a private plot, with large windows to people watch and catch amazing sunsets that fall behind the village.

The Pod is 40 meters squared, with a bedroom, living area, and private bathroom with shower. In addition, it has a private sheltered terrace with a private hot tub to relax in.

The Burrow offers a unique experience, with the Pod finished to a very high hotel standard, panelled walls, plush carpet, and furnishings. Breakfast is served in the Inn each morning next door.

The pod is designed for up to 2 Adults only.

#TuesdayTip ✨️ Don’t rule out Doolin once summer is over! 🍂

We might be a little biased, but autumn is one of our favourite times of year around here.

There’s still a great buzz around the village, but things move at a slightly easier pace. The pubs are full of trad music, the walking boots can still get plenty of use, and there’s a bit more room to stop and actually take in those Wild Atlantic Way views 🌊

Head off for a wander around the Burren, walk the Doolin Cliff Walk, go underground out Doolin Cave, relax in a Seaweed Bath, explore the coast and the islands, and then make your way back to Doolin for good food, a pint and a session in the pub.

And, of course, there’s a Big Burren Breakfast waiting for you the following morning 🍳☕

✨ Friday Feature ✨ Homestead Cottage 🍽️

We’re very lucky here in Doolin to have some seriously good food right on our doorstep, and this week we’re shining the spotlight on local favourite Homestead Cottage.

Run by Robbie & Sophie and set in a traditional North Clare cottage just outside Doolin village, Homestead is all about celebrating what’s available locally and in season. They even grow much of their own fruit, vegetables and herbs on site, with the garden helping to shape what appears on the menu throughout the seasons 🌱🥕

Alongside their homegrown produce, they work with local farmers, fishermen and producers to showcase the flavours of this little corner of Ireland. And it’s certainly made its mark on the Irish food scene, earning a coveted Michelin Star ⭐

If you’re planning a special meal during your stay in Doolin, this one is well worth booking ahead.
