“IN SEARCH OF BACKYARD POOLS” printed in @confusionmagazine , Issue 34. Swipe through and read about our trip last year. Or don’t. But consider buying a copy to support core-skateboarding. Print is not dead yet… by @doomedblues

POOL BASH 2026 - 27.06.26 // This might be the last pool bash at the Greififornia pool, the future is uncertain.. Stoked to announce some great artists that will perform this year: @deadfinks , @__jmahon__ , @haphazard.music and OUK. River Goblin is gonna provide you with good tunes throughout the day. This year we also got @wondersaroundtheworldorg with us who will bring awareness to the great projects they’re doing all around the world! @pankesk8 is gonna cook his signature Mexican food, and the Greifi crew provides the drinks. Of course we’re gonna fill the pool the next morning, so bring your swimwear! See you on the 27th! taken in Greifswalder Straße by @doomedblues

Sometimes rewriting skateboarding history is as simple as a €25 flight to Lisbon, a few hours spent on Google Earth, a generator pump, and reckless optimism. For years, people thought you had to go to the States to find skateable pools. Turns out you don’t. And this one? Just the start - there are plenty more out there. More on it soon in a @confusionmagazine article… taken in Algarve Coast, Portugal by @doomedblues
