In conversation with @jungel_queen 🌞

We discussed everything she worked on for the residency. It was amazing to witness Esther balancing motherhood and being a creative. Seeing how the intricate demands of parenthood impact the creative process and vice versa.

Her work expresses this duality and explores the identity shift that being a mother inspires, In both the challenges and the rewards of parenthood.

Spent the last week looking back at some beautiful highlights from the summer residency with Esther Philips AKA @jungel_queen 👑

We focused on creative experimentation, using the body to explore & connect with nature in new ways . Working over 4 days, Esther explored painting & performance, merging her work with her life as a mother and exploring themes of motherhood and healing.

Check out our page for upcoming autumn projects 🍂🤎🌞

🖤FINDING YOUR PLACE 🖤

Longing to return to that calm, grounded place within yourself—but not sure how to get there?

In this workshop, you’ll be guided through a gentle journey of meditation, visualisation, and automatic drawing to quiet the mind and reconnect with your inner compass.

Through these practices, you’ll begin to uncover what feels most true for you and translate those insights onto paper - creating a personal visual guide that you can return to long after the workshop ends.

You’ll experience
• Guided meditation to settle the mind
• Visualisation to connect with your inner landscape
• Automatic drawing to give form to your intuition

**You’ll leave with:**
• A greater sense of clarity and direction
• A deeper connection to yourself and your intuition
• Your own unique visual “life instruction guide” to take home

We’re looking forward to sharing this space with you !

Join us Sunday 31st of May 2026, 4-6pm, for ‘En Mode Mandala’, a mehndi workshop 🔆

This event offers an introduction to the practice of mehndi! (also known as henna)

It will be structured as, first, a teach-in of how to create a mandala, possibly bedazzling them 🙈, and then a time to do some mehnd on each otheri! We’ll be thinking about diasporic practices in Western environments and other things 🧐🧐

All materials provided & mehndi cones provided by Bharathi Sanghani @bharathi_sanghani_mehndi 💞
